RAMADAN should be celebrated together! FOLLOW SAUDI!

If where Islam was born and our prophet was born and where we all go to do hajj is saying that they saw the moon…then 2morow is the first day. Why are “some” people going around saying they didn’t see it here in America???

Why can’t we all have one special holiday like the christians have Christmas?

We all need to follow the core of this world and it’s mecca. Come on people 90% of the world is doing it…catch up already! Ramzan starts tommorow.

Re: RAMADAN should be celebrated together! FOLLOW SAUDI!

listen all of you have point that wherever the moon comes according to that we should follow but i think that all muslims should celebrate eid and ramadan together by following the base of saudia arabia and as far as namaz goes they cannot be followed as it is clear that around the world timing is different and that namaz is happeing at each and every time in the world so namaz timings can differ however when ramadan comes we should follow saudia arabia's base because then in one muslim countyr eid is today and the other country the next day plus the other people of other religion laugh on us that they want to take holiday and one muslim says his eid is on this day and the other says its on this day i think we al should have eid and ramadan at the same time what do you all think

I agree...

The month of Ramadan should be started where the month of Ramadan originated from...

Re: RAMADAN should be celebrated together! FOLLOW SAUDI!

  1. Why not with Saudi Arabia 4.1 Question: I've just received news that Saudi Arabia had a confirmed sighting of the Ramadan hilal on the 29/12/97. Hence their fasting will start on 30/12/1997. Some of the astronomical software showed that on 29/12/97 the moon and the sun set together almost at the same time for most part of the Middle East and the moon conjunction occurred about an hour after the sunset in most Saudi Arabia. It is therefore perplexing that they claimed to see the elusive hilal. (Dec 29,1997) Answer: Moonsighting.com has been monitoring Saudi's announcements for about two decades, and consistently their month starts earlier than any place on earth month after month. The only explanation we can find is that they use a pre-calculated calendar based on "New-moon" that is invisible. Their Official Ummul-Qura calendar of 30 years (of which we have a copy) shows every month begins one day after New-moon date of Greenwich Mean time (now called Universal time). The possibilities for Saudi's decision are:
  2. A few claims of sighting an invisible moon come and the authorities accept them saying that a pious and credible Muslim has given the witness, so it completes Shari'ah requirement.
  3. If they don't see on the 30th day, they use a justification that 30 days are completed. In fact, the moon is always visible on 30th day, if the month started on actual and authentic moonsighting. If the moon is not visible on 30th day, it means that the beginning of the month was in error either due to pre-calculated date that was not based on moonsighting or due to mistaken sighting claims.

Re: RAMADAN should be celebrated together! FOLLOW SAUDI!

bro same thing cupke se baji is trying to say , Prophet Muhammad (SWA) has shown us the way. 1400 yrs back some one lives in pak, and some one lives in sudia . what if suaides people see the moon what do u think how long it will take go from sudia to pakistan if u go back to that time. i think couple of months , correct ??? thats why we have given us very simple way that look at the moon in ur area and then make the annocement , why u have to make complicated oh we have to follow sudia . yes we do respect our holiland but do it as is tuaght us to do , do not make ur own things.

Re: RAMADAN should be celebrated together! FOLLOW SAUDI!

listen man i know i am not in saudi but the thing is that since that is the most holiest country where kabbah came and our prophet so why not take ramadan as a combine celebration i mean listen christmas is obtained all over the world at same time for muslims one eid is on monday and for the other its on tuesday and then other religions make a issue on that or laugh at that why can't we have eid and ramadan at the same time and chup ke se thori tamiz seekh lo okay you yourself an idiot i gave my opinion if you dont like it then you go to hell every one is entitled to give their opinion i might be wrong but i just gave a suggestion that whats the harm of having eid at the same time all around the world
