Ramadan/Eid aftermath

Okay, so who is in the same boat I am? I need to lose 6 lbs by Christmas, and I need to keep the virtuous thing going.

It is so odd to go to lunch now.

Im in the wrong boat, i didnt and coulnd't eat anything yesterday..it was like "wow, food..whats that?" and i forgot to eat all day today!! so not much difference here..anyway will be fasting again inshallah starting from tomorrow!!

Too early, PCG. You can’t lose weight now! There’s still Thanksgiving :yummy:

what's you weight now. Are you what we call "fat."

Whatever weight I lost in 30 days, I think I put it right back on the first day of eid. I started eating right from the get go. Sawayyaan, samosay, biryani, chapli kabab, bihari chicken, jalebi, haleem, and much more.

But I don't feel like eating lunch on the second day.

Not me! I seriosuly need to gain some, I have lost 5-10lbs in the last few months.

Well I didn;t lose any weight coz I skiped gym..but I;m back on it now and hopefully by Christmas I'll be a lil sleeker :D

i ate a bit and now my tummy is all upset... my body is still recovering :(

Yes, Atlanta, I weigh 198 lbs currently. You know, 192 lbs gives one such a slim look in comparison.

Those who lost weight in Ramadan: how did that work out?? And don't tell me it was the pakoray and the samosay - I didn't have any of that except on weekends.

i just went back to the gym today for the first time in AGES. I did about 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer, and now i'm STARVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :( :( :(

hmmz just cutting down on food intake after aftari i guess.. walknig for half an hour everyday… i guess all that helps?

in the past ive always gained weight.. but i think this year i managed to lose some.. i was soo horrible looking after i got back from canada, so i needed to big time!

PCG, try walking for abuot 30-45 minutes after dinner (like wait half an hour and then go).. it really helps :k:

You need to lose? I need to gain damn it! I went from 105 to 98! I have never lost weight in Ramadan, I always gain. But this time Ramadan has really brought down my appetite.

Same here. I went down from 106 to 100 lbs in ramadan. :(

CA and destinee... u both seriously need to put on weight.. i just converted lbs to kg and im having a heart attack... how thin are u girls!! i feel obese compared to u lot

I ate pakorey, samosey, turnovers, french fries and what not EVERYDAY and still lost 8 pounds. Eating all that oily food didn't affect me much. Instead of losing 10 (which I normally do every year), I only lost 8.

weight scales are overrated…never accurate :rolleyes:

I ate tons during iftar and ended up skipping dinner.

This is the first time I've lost weight in Ramzan in 10 years. This is the only explanation I can come up with. Went from 104 to 99.
