These are so great thanks guys!

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

After today’s fajr prayer, our Imam explained a list of to-dos, some religious, some normal but these are really good. So i tried to remember few to share with you guyz:

  1. Be productve: i.e. Do not be lazy just because you think you are fasting and shouldnt be living a normal day. Do unnecessary rest or waste time

  2. No countdown: Dont keep an eye on the clock and keep counting as to how many hours are left. Similarly dont be so vocal about how you are having hunger pain due to roza. Or in simple words stay calm and normal.

  3. visit sick people: as many as possible. Here in west very often we dont know that many sick ppl so through the masjid community one can contact Imam who usually knows who is sick where and we can get to see them.

  4. Visit qabrustan

  5. Check if there many be any disgruntled person in our family or else where. Contact them first, pass on the ramadhan greetings and resume the broken ties.

  6. Contact your neighbors or friends especially those who are non-muslims. Invite them over atleast once for Iftar etc. You dont need to give them Dawa’ , rather just be nice to them and see how things change.

It was a long list, i’ll try to remember more and as i remember will post it here

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

Don’t ask a fellow muslim if he/she’s fasting…unless you’re 10.

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

:lkk: of all.

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

NAK’s yet another beautiful address about Ramadhan:

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

~Pick a surah 30 ayat in length, and memorize one ayah per day. By the end of Ramadan, you know a whole surah by heart!
~Donate some clothes, shoes, hijabs, money, cans of food…etc (once per week)
~Read one juz a day
~Promise to give up a bad habit, not only for the month of Ramadan…for your entire life! (smoking, cursing, etc)

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

Here is an obvious one and may be one of the most important ones:

Don’t eat or drink from first light to sunset everyday for the month, unless you have shari’ cause to do so.

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

Amazing thread!. May Allah reward you brother!. Surely, this is month of reflection and better ourselves foremost. Although it is long day but..you get used to it. And besides we do it for Allah alone.

Re: Ramadan daily activity tracker: To-Dos and Not-to-dos

Assalamualaikum warahamtullah

JazakAllah khairan kaseera to you all

Pick one surah start with surah fatiha and then surah baqarah..read the meaning of their verses and try to ponder over the verses even if you just take a day for a verse..Allah will inshaAllah see the sincerity in your action..just build your relation with Quran start from this month and continue it for the rest of your life..
Try to memorize an ayah daily. Like the two ending verses of Surah baqarah
And starting verses of surah kahf
Last surahs of 30th para.
Just ask ask and ask Allah.may Allah grant us goodness of both world Ameen
Remember all the muslims in your dua..we all really need duas
