and nutwer i didnt say I am against inter caste marriages. didnt ever mentioned in my post that caste is something to be proud off? family, the person social circle, friends, his/her up bringing does count to make a good person in a society regardless of a caste or faith.

Regarding your last sentence is sensible.
But i stil dont get as long aso one is pakistani, and modern day pakistanis are all more or less al the same in lifestyle/culture and bio-makeup.
what differance does caste make.
I have raj-put living in my neighbour hood who has to almost in every social situation proudly highlight his 'rajputness', implieing he is better than others.
But the reality for him is and his family, is that they have no better; financial, social, or religious or any other level than the others in the the locality, so whats this rajput pride worth?
He aint got none of the associated wealth or property, so ends up making more of a mockery of himself than raising his social respect.

There is a hadith where the Prophet (saw) told one of the Sahaba to choose a wife from a tribe different to his, and then to choose for his son a wife from a third tribe, and to seek for his second son a girl from yet another tribe.
Islam does not encourage marriage within a caste or family, but merely permits it.
btw, since you are really concerned, hubby comes from a rajput family (but does not consider himself rajput), I don't.

Actually, lineage is very important in Islam and the lineage of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) is the best.
Islam allows men to marry women for their lineage, wealth, beauty and deen. Though marrying for her deen is considered best.

I have read that genealogist disagree with this foregin origin of rajput's theory.

I don't know about them being from Germany or not but I think you are right that Aryans and Araaeens are not the same people but Aryans are supposed to be the ancestors of us all Araaeen, rajput, minhas etc i guess.

But then again you come across of all sorts of people and questions in daily life.
