AND.For ur kind information,maybe u were weak in history (check ur marks) Akbar knew that he can’t win rajpoots so he putting his Muzhab on stake,married hindu rajpoot princess,( who never embraced Islam).from whom Akbar had Heirs.He became the relative of Rajpoot 4 some territories.

Anyway, Still, watch your tongue, you are doing bezeti of Al-mighty emperor Jalaludin Akbar.
Yeh Rajput was stronger than others, but Akbar conquered with Allahs help all kafir castes then what was a left for him to fear of one more kufr caste. He just sought his goal of unity this time through a more diplomatic and peaceful way.
And by the way Jodha died in 1623 and her tomb is near Agra. As a custom Hindus were cremated and never buried. Her burial signifies she converted to Islam after marriage.
Her conversion was probably not made public so the notion of religious tolerance Akbar generated, would not look comprimised.

If Jodah didnt turn muslim why is does her TOMB still exist in Agra, it shows she wuz burried and never cremated. And think–if she was such a devout hindu thru allher life-whom akbar tolerated and respected…dont u think he would also have respected her hindu cremation right.

i 've never seen jodha akbar,n sick n tired of the givin awards thousands of times.very bore movie.AND Alhamdullilah,Allah had given enough respect,so Thanx 4 nothing.

Farmeh, i am rajput too, but again married couple of years back!
for people who are bashing castes, there is nothing wrong with castes and tribes according to islam while eveyone is equal castes and tribe as made so people can recognise each other and families better. Prophet Mohammad PBUH himself belongs to Quresh tribe of Arbia, a respectable one in the society.
and i agree with Fatema, people from same background clicks easily. as there are some traits passed onto generations that stays common. that includes good and bad.
but some people fake castes i dont know for what reason may be perpetuate or get respect in the society. there are hardly people who keep original castes.
nothing against the real moghals, but mostly now people dont take pride being Lohar/ or carpenters but instead started using Moghals as their castes. sad but true. same goes for other such non existent castes ie you will not see many people taking pride as being Kumars, lohar, tarkhan, darzi etc.

it's up to her who and from where she wants to find ristas for her family members..why do ppl think they can come into threads and start dictating nad lecturing members on what is right and what is wrong. it seems right to her so so be it..i cant beleive there are ridiculously funny ppl coming and criticizing her that "no!..stop u cant find ristas where u want..u r this n ur that!.."

while its true there was caste system in old times.
This was because the cultures/lifestyles differed to some extent from tribe to tribe.
People found greater compatibility in same caste mariage, resultantly people had inferiority/superiority attitudes on betwen castes.
Nabi-paks wiped out man-made rankings and taught everybody the priority is to be muslim, so in his time inter-caste marriages were widespread.
and although im not Mughal, I think ones self-respect/pride is made from what one has accomplished him self and what one is himself, rather than what his ancestors or others have done.
And this is what nabi-pak taught.
But Im Proud to be pakistani, thats my caste. Thats who I am.
