Rainbow over Karachi!

This is the picture of a rainbow which I took from my roof, (yesterday, as Cyclone Phet was very close to Karachi). It appeared for just a few minutes, around evening time, when there was a small gap in the clouds.

Oh good. Thanks for sharing. Its very rare in Karachi, last time I saw it was in 2003.

Yes yes, by all means! Please do post all the pictures you took yesterday. It doesn't matter if they came out good or not, as long as it's a rainbow, I'd love to see it!

In fact, anyone over here who has ever taken a picture of a rainbow (no matter where you are in the world) - Please post it over here for us all to see!

Anyway, the rainbow over Karachi appeared in the east. Very few took pictures of it, and even fewer took video footage. I however did both, but I am going to make a detailed video about rainbows later - Otherwise it just wouldn’t be fun to upload raw footage…

Anyhow, I bet that no body who did both - Also bothered to take a picture of the western side of the sky (from where the gap in the clouds made this rainbow possible).

So here I am now, showing you what the sky was like on the other end!

Here’s the pic I took. I was probably too late to take a shot and it was fading away and the giant Ufone tower also came in between :frowning:
