There is so much dramatization done by the background comments and musik, mentioning its an “aarog” or blame. And its noticeable how they quickly finished the interview when he was saying that Rahat would not have done it intentionally.
Its just anothe effort to twist the story and making a pak-india issue.

finally issue is settled for now. rahat was given a slap on the wrist and let go with small fine. he was fined 30 lacs and was given his passport back.
he surely got a lot of people in trouble who will have to face criminal charges.
in related news, pak income tax officials found that rahat is not even registered as a tax payer and hence never paid any income tax in pak.
lets see how he is greeted by pak IT dept in lahore.

i didnt know about that. but it is still better than paying 300% fine which would have been close to $375000 ;)

I agree. Big question is whether he would want to come back to India after this humiliation ?
