if u break a country's law u must face the consequences. no country in the world allows anyone to carry that large sum in cash without declaring it on the landing card. he broke the law so he must face the music...let him sing in an indian jail :D

Transfer of money through non-banking channels saves tax. Pakistan main chal jata hai, Indian tax officials are a little more independent.

Only if he knew about the hawala racket in India he could have saved him a lot of trouble :/
btw the enquiry will go very far, it is troubling that how easily he managed to convert Indian rupees in to huge amount of dollars.
plus the people who paid him money will get in trouble as well
