ignorance of the law is NOT an excuse. i wunder what he had mentioned on his immigration declaration card. i am positive that he knew FULL well that carrying large sum of money is illegal and especially in the time when everyone is on edge about terrorism.
i’m an indian by birth but i wud never carry cash [even $500] for the sake of my safety and security.**
