i was just wondering how many other people here have faced racism from people around them? the other day my neighbors got a package but they weren’t home so the UPS guy asked us to sign for it and then give it to them when they got home. i took the package and left a note on the neighbors door to let them know that i had it. when the neighbor came with her son to pick up the package the son commented that the mom should be careful with the package because it might have a bomb in it. i was shocked and didn’t know what to say.

Hate between northern and southern Pakistanis is not true or atleast I have not seen it.
Picking a gori or kali for marrige is called preference, not racism.

they are “white” i’m not sure what their exact nationality is. the mother is really nice but the father doesn’t seem to like us even though we’ve never talked to him.

You could have asked the boy what he meant by his comment. Maybe that’s how the family thinks about ALL packages and the comment was a harmless reminder of that (meaning: it had nothing to do with you). You had a golden opportunity to educate both mom & son.
Ignore the idiotic comments about communal racism as they don’t address your immediate situation.

You are right about racism within our community but this coming from a person who thinks " You get good treatment in PIA flights only if you are speaking punjabi" and
" Prime Tv is actually Punjabi TV and not a Pakistani TV since majority of it’s programmes are Punjabi (it’s a news to me though).
Have a brief look at yourself before preaching PCG.
