Racisim at Hindu Temple

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

racism is not just the skin colour, it can be of religion, how u look like, what u wear, ur culture, ur language etc.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

that is not racism. that is known as hate

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

Mekkah I think you don’t know the difference from it and Kaaba is open to muslim convert…just ONE in million example Malcom X.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

Devadasi is a real person.

A girl married to the temple. Sometimes, some places even at the age of three. A girl who dances at the temple and give sexual pleasure to men at the temple.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

This is somewhat similar to when you marry girls to Quran for life. How their natural urge is satisfied, I have no idea ?
May be you can throw some light.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

Back to the topic.

Some temples, not all, disallow non-hindus into the inner sanctum. In the past, hinduism was supposed to be an universal religion which implies then that there are no 'non-hindus'. Which then implies that there was no such thing as 'converting to hinduism'.

In modern days, a mechanism has to be found for those seeking to 'convert to hinduism'. For Indians, this is a simple thing - you declare yourself as an hindu, and if you so desire, change your name in the official gazette. That's it. Westerners have a need for a formal mechanism for everything, and an organisation called the Arya Samaj has taken upon itself to provide an initiation ceremony and issue a certificate. Many of those temples in the south that disallow non-hindus accept the certificate issued by Arya Samaj.

In this particular instance, all that we know is that this lady (and her husband) claimed that she was an hindu. With a non-indian appearance, it is understandable that she was questioned. She could have produced a certificate or something.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

1-Married to Quran??? You are mixing probable rituals with the religion.
Please find any reference in Islam which would promote any such act.

2-I see, the reason she (Devadasi) is married to temple so she can get her natural urge satisfied… ?

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

I can't beleive people fight over non issues ignoring the real issue. doesn't mecca not allow non muslims to visit? so is that racism? yes! bottom line: all religions were founded by men who wanted to divide and rule. emphasis on 'men'. get over your slave mentality and stop doing what your masters wanted you to do 2000 yrs ago: fight and kill, fight and kill. It just makes me sick to see teh greater portion of humanity unwilling to use its brains. Sheeple!

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

You don’t read the thread and post your view I guess. You did not use your brain when posted above either.

The woman was converted hindu. She was stopped since she looked different.

No one stops converted muslims to enter Mecca or Kaaba, regardless of the look, language or race. Many converted muslims have performed Hajj.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

^It's still a form of racism. To think converted muslims are worthy of going in and not unconverted. Just as bad as that silly priest who discriminates against whites, IMO. Religion was used as a tool to unite a group under one church or leader. It could be used to incite hatred and war, but only by making the men believe that 'their' religion is better. Hope you can understand this simple language, I have my doubts though. Sheeple take time to learn to think for themselves...:p
Born and buttered Americans have more sense than to fight one another over religion.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

You are desperately trying to make it a comparison thread.

the thread is about hindu temple racism and thanks for admitting that it was a bad choice on the temple part to throw this woman out.

Open another thread if you want to talk about Islam.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

Again, stick to the topic. I tried to remove a few posts that we could do without.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

^ Thanks Sadiyah.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

A white lady could not entre a Hindu temple.
This is no doubt 'racism'. I do not understand why some of our Hindus do not understand this little fact.

Re: Racisim at Hindu Temple

^ Thank you Anjjan. You have ways to really impress me sometimes.
