Race Protests in Manchester

Salaam!

Just got back from work and saw on TV that there was a race protest in Manchester probably organised by the BNP goons.

I hope our Paki bros don’t do anything stupid and irresponsible because that’s EXACTLY what the BNP wants us to do so that they can turn around and say:

“See! Told you them Paki Mozlem bstrds are violent and a threat to this country”.

The racist newspapers like The Daily Express will have a field day if Muslims step out of line, they are always looking for excuses to malign Islam and this will give them a perfect opportunity to generate more votes for the BNP.

They are doing this to provoke us to do something stupid so let us be patient, I know our people can be a bit hot headed and emotional but let’s control ourselves, because retaliation is exactly what these scumbags want.

This country doesn’t belong to the BNP, this country belongs to all of us white, brown, yellow, black, multi-colored, Jews, Christians, Muslims and other colours and religions who are not fascist and racist.

Let us reclaim the Union Jack from these BNP scumbags and fly it outside our Mosques and houses to show that we’re loyal to this country and we’re not going anywhere, let us join hands with our white countrymen who are not racist and fascist to destroy the BNP through peaceful means, by winning over hearts and winning over their voters to our side by showing we’re human.

The BNP are simply xenophobic, today it’s Muslims tomorrow it will be Jews and Hindus for being more succesful than themselves or hermaphrodites for being different…

Please spread the word of patience, forward it through emails, post it on your facebook, make a big poster for your Mosque niticeboard and if you are an Imam tell your congregation to be patient and not retailiate in the present conditions because if we did we’d be playing nicely into the hands of the BNP who will pretend to play the victim making us out as the aggressor.

UPDATE!

The TV Channel DM Digital was giving the impression that this protest was organised by the BNP but I just googled this morning and found that it was actually a group called the English Defense League (EDL) who are anti-Muslim and Islamophobic, they share the same mentality as the BNP.

It was an anti-Islamic/Muslim protest rather than a race one.

We will see many more groups like this if we Muslims do not get there act together.

The EDL did deny that they were affiliated to the BNP but there also used to be a link on the BNP’s website linking to the group. The EDP were also involved in clashes in Birmingham earlier in the year and in Luton.. They have taken to organising their ‘marches’ on Facebook to try and keep off the police radar as much as posible and despite what they say are made up of a large number of football hooligans..

BNP has condenmned EDL, look it up on google. EDL are jewish-funded. Their last protest had waves of Israeli flags.

^ I agree they don't any longer seem to want to be associated with each other but on a side-note the BNP also supports Isreal and even has/had a Jewish councillor..

White people are stupid and the Jews are using them to fight their wars.

Untill we Muslims integrate ourselves with the majority and show them that we're not as evil as we're being made out to be, things are just going to get worse and the Jews and Hindus are going to take advantage of the poloitical situation for their own ends.

I think somebody needs to tell these white nincompoops what their Jewish masters think of Christianity and Gentiles (including Caucasians) with proof from the Talmud.

These ungreatful Jews should also remember it was we Muslims who gave them refuge when the Catholics were shafting them in Iberia and all over Europe.

What was the reason the BNP gave for condemning the EDL?

I think EDL is a lot more dangerous for us than BNP.

BNP were not very politically correct at the beginning so it put educated middle/upper class people off but the EDL are putting on a false facade of being politically correct.

The BNP were racist and homophobic to all so they got opposition from a wide range of ethnic, political and religious groups..

EDL are only against Muslims, and in todays world Islamiphobia is fine, racism was an issue 20-30 years ago but it's not anymore, today racism is unacceptable but Islamophobia is very much accepeted and I think we Muslims are going to be singled out for the hatred now, bad times ahead for us, may Allah watch over us, Amen...

Newspapers like The Daily Express which features a Crusader as it's logo is one of the worst of the lot, can you imagine the hue and cry if Muslims had a newspaper with a Jehadi as their logo?

I remember they did an article against Muslim girls schools without ever setting foot into a Muslim school ever.

A friend told me the guy who runs The Daily Express and its affiliate newspapers is married to a Jewish lady and he owns porn channels too, so you can understand where his anti-Muslim bias comes from..

youve got no chance of 'beating' the bnp or edf back at the moment. the british government for the last decade is complicit in feuling anti muslim sentiments. we will have to wait atleast till all issues with pakistan, afghanistan and iran have come to a conclusion before the country starts issueing feel good vibes. at the moment the government needs anti muslim sentiment to push through its aggressive policies against far away islamic nations

british muslims are not calling for sharia or anything like that, muslims have no desire to change britains culture or religion. we are not israellis

You must understand that no one is here to "Reason" they sole purpose is to do Islam bashing thats all they do they do or see not evil in other countries other religions even when in those countries churches are burning, mosques are burning even people are burned alive.

Their only purpose is to humiliate Islam and Muslims (unfortunatly).

The owner of the Daily Express is a very close friend of Mohamed Al-Fayed and was known for printing many many of the stories regarding Diana possibly being murdered due to her relationship with Muslim Dodi so I think it's perhaps a bit simplistic to say it's blatantly anti-Islam, esp when most of the other tabloids do similar styles of reporting when it comes to Islam and Muslims (I actually think the Daily Mail is far worse, check out their reader comments section online whenever something about Islam/Muslims in general comes up and it's pretty obvious ppl are being directed over there from BNP and far-right websites).

You're right about Richard Desmond being in the porn business (tho he's not the only newspaper baron to do it), he owns Television X as well..

Since Mr Desmond has taken over Daily Express it has become a newspaper policy to allign itself with the extreme right wing and be anti muslims it seems. It seems that they want to create a niche for themselves from a business point of view. He also owns The Star, which seems to be fine. I think he also owns OK magazine as well. I think all the muslims should boycott The Daily Express.

This is what the DE had as a front page headline. This is extremely out of order. It’s header implies that all muslims want this. Its not even “now extremist muslims”. The DE was the paper which dubbed the Pakistani nukes “the islamic bomb” if i remember correctly?

I have never heard of Islam4UK until the headline caught my eye. The British press especially the daily express, the mail and the sun constantly brainwash the public and plant the seeds of hatred which will be nurtured until one day it could be too late for us muslims in the UK.
Just a question for Mr Mercer - Why comment on a minority group which so many have not heard of? Why dont you actually comment on the way the Express is constantly singling out a section of the British community, which by and large is mostly law-abiding.
A question to Mr Phillips - is nt it the media which is actually inciting hatred with its front-page constant demeaning negative coverage of a particular community?
Anne Widecombe - you are wrong - the Jews have their own legal system in the UK. I am not sure how it works and what for but she should state facts before she speaks.
Is nt Anjem Chowdry the HT/Al-muajirron guy? As for as I remember they have never been keen on the Burqa and have always promoted the Hijab, not including face covering.

Daily Express | UK News :: Now Muslims demand full Sharia law

A RADICAL Muslim group sparked outrage last night as it launched a massive campaign to impose sharia law on Britain.
The fanatical group Islam4UK has announced plans to hold a potentially incendiary rally in London later this month.
And it is calling for a complete upheaval of the British legal system, its officials and legislation.
Members have urged Muslims from all over Britain to converge on the capital on October 31 for a procession to demand the full implementation of sharia law.
On a website to promote their cause they deride British institutions, showing a mock-up picture of Nelson’s Column surmounted by a minaret.
Plans for the demonstration have been delivered to the Metropolitan Police and could see up to 5,000 extremists marching to demand the controversial system.
The procession – dubbed March 4 Shari’ah – will start at the House of Commons, which the group’s website describes as the “very place where the lives of millions of people in the UK are changed and it is from here where unjust wars are launched”.
The group then intends to march to 10 Downing Street and “call for the removal of the tyrant Gordon Brown from power”.
The march will then converge on Trafalgar Square where protesters expect it “will gather even more support from tourists and members of the public, making clear in the heart of London the need for Shari’ah in society”.
The group declared: “We hereby request all Muslims in the United Kingdom, in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and all other places to join us and collectively declare that as submitters to Almighty Allah, we have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture.
“On this day we will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system its members and legislature, and demand the full implementation of Shari’ah in Britain.”

Last night politicians and fellow Muslims condemned the group’s incendiary comments, which come in the wake of recent violent incidents in towns and cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Luton, Beds.
Conservative MP and ex-Army officer Patrick Mercer said: “It is extremely distasteful and is stoking the fires of fear within the British public. “If anyone thinks that those views are a step forward in society they are seriously deluded. They are repellent and repulsive.”
The group was also attacked by Tory MP Philip Davies who said: “This march is clearly a deliberate and provocative attempt to incite racial tension and disrupt community cohesion.
“The simple solution is for these people to move to a country which already has sharia law.”
A spokesman for the Islamic Society of Britain said: “99.999 per cent of Muslims despise these people. This only serves to fuel racial tensions.”
And Tory MP and Daily Express columnist Ann Widdecombe, said: “You cannot have two legal systems side by side and the one we have now works and the British people are perfectly happy with it.”
The rally has not yet been given final approval. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “We have received an application for the march but we have yet to meet with the organisers.”
A Home Office spokesman said: “Everyone has the right to express their view so long as it is done sensibly, without violence and does not incite religious hatred.”
Plans for the march are revealed on the website Islam4UK, which is fronted by preacher Anjem Choudary who has also called for all British women to wear burkhas.
Explaining the Nelson’s Column mock-up he said that under sharia law the construction and elevation of statues or idols is prohibited and consequently the statue of Nelson “would be removed and demolished without hesitation”. At the base of the column the friezes would be replaced with Islamic decoration and giant urns would be filled with gold coins for the poor.
Mr Choudary has said that under sharia law in Britain people who commit adultery would be stoned to death, adding that “anyone who becomes intoxicated by alcohol would be given 40 lashes in public”.
He has also mocked the deaths of British soldiers, and branded an Army homecoming parade a “vile parade of brutal murderers”.

The Jews wouldn't let The Daily Express get away if it was targeting Jews. I think perhaps some of us should write to the Press Complaints Commission besides boycotting titles owned by Mr Desmond.

The article clearly refers to them as "radicals", "fanatics." This presents Muslims in the UK with a great opportunity to show that most UK Muslims reject Islamist demands for shariah. How? Organize a counter-march. There are two weeks, which are certainly more than enough time to do so.

The reason Islamic nuts are in the UK news while nuts of other religions aren't is obvious: there are no Buddhist, Jewish, Taoist, Confucionist, Shintoist, Hindu, Mormon, etc. "religious" organizations holding rallies calling for bombing the UK, overthrowing the government, and imposing medieval Arab (and Roman--Justinian Code) shariah law on the country. Sheik Omar Bukri Mohammad has publicly called for the murder of all "kafirs" with the promise of heaven for anyone who does so. There are no Buddhist monks saying that. Confucianists are not calling for imposing a legal code based on 1,000+ year old Chinese concepts in Britain. If you criticize Judaism you don't have to be put under 24/7 police protection forever because you get hundreds of death threats within days of making any such public statement. You guys should know: 200+ years ago Thomas Paine wrote *The Age of Reason *denouncing all religion, but especially Christianity and called Moses the worst person in human history in it while in the UK. He was criticized heavily on both sides of the Atlantic but these were peaceful criticisms; there were no threats to his life--he even lived in the White House for a month when he moved back to America.

The media--especially the Rupert Murdoch media virus that infects all English-speaking nations-- indeed does at times inflame tensions in an effort to sell newspapers, increase ratings but the fact remains the fundamental problem is internal. This is the Paklinks forum. Look at what has happened to Pakistan at the hands of Salafists and Deobandis--and things are constantly getting worse. Is that because of Fox News or the Daily Express? Is anyone blowing up hospitals or bazaars because of Bill O'Reilly or because of an ideology that was created in the 1920's (I understand there are some here who are completely ignorant of historical time-lines, so for their edification: Islam was created in the 600's. This new ideology has little to do with Islam, which is why such an ideology did not exist for 1,300+ years. Their oldest antecedent is one, albeit very influential today, writer from the 1200's)?

Instead of a letter writing campaign complaining about coverage about a group, how about fighting the group itself? Write letters to Muslim organizations in the UK, such as the Islamic council, and organize a counter-march. What better way to show that UK Muslims reject these Salafists than to have the Salafist rally itself denounced by a much larger group of Muslims standing on the other side?
