the lover asks the beloved to be fair and just in answering his/her querry. the question is: when life forsakes/abandons someone then why he/she shouldn’t embrace death?

Both of you are right but the way I look at it is that he is saying that she is his life and when she (his life) has left him than why should he not embrace death.
