to be a muslim, u must follow Islam as a religion…
ppl who believe in one God (regardless of what they call Him) but do not believe in Muhammad :saw: and Quran r still not termed as muslims, if that is what u r asking about…

pretty simple Awara Baadal... people who followed earlier prophets believed in One God and the last day and did good deeds.. they however weren't born in a time to witness Prophet Muhammad or the Qur'an.. according to armughals definition they can not be termed Muslims..

Was Isalm there at thier time ? Islam was brought by Muhammad :saw: right ? so how can you say people before Islam are Muslim ? I m confused.
Those all Prophet had preached what they were suppose to, but all of them have mentioned about prophet Muhammad :saw: that he will come in last and they should follow him 
If you are talking about all those prophet, then they will be sent to heaven because they were prophet and they completed thier duty.
If you call them Muslim then how about thier nations who followed them ?

I think it makes sense to find out what muslim means. A muslim is a person who follows Islam as a religion. The word literally means submission to the One true God, i.e., Allah.

I have not seen any Islam after Prophet Ibrahim, if that was the case then all Jews and christian who came after him should be called as Muslims , right ?
