QURBAN JAIEEAAY on ARY (Eid AlAdha Play)

Re: QURBAN JAIEEAAY on ARY (Eid AlAdha Play)

Ole' Ali......!! Hooray...Hip Hip !

yes Moin Akhtar, Kashif Mehmood, Abid Ali, even mehmood aslam, did a role of a bmw in their dramas...... but they did it with much decency!! and in their real lives they all are not multi-sexual. and please you can't compare ali saleem with the ppl above!!! they are versatile artists.... where as ali saleem is simply vulgar.

what kind of a talent does he have?? flirty with both men and women at the same time is for sure a unique talent. then Kun meri dulhania is a talent oozing song.....

if he was really talented then he would have so many other roles of different types........ there is nothing in him.... he waanted to be a female from childhood.... and thats what he does...... there is no talent!!!

ali saleem bashing can't be a fashion ever........ he is not worthy of that much importance!!!

We don't need to idolize film actors and film actresses. We've 'real life heroes' in our country whom we can follow. 'Idol worship' is not part of our culture.Thank God for that!

I don't want to discuss ali's personal life but seriously how can you idolize a confused personality like him who doesn't even know if he/she wants to marry a girl or a boy!

Thirdly, Moin Akhar is a legend. You can't compete him with anybody. Its easy to do a gimmick show like BNA but afer a while it gets boring. He's not even a patch on Moin.Rozi was a decent drama. Moin is a sane person not controversial like BNA. He 's a bad role model if at all.

BNA show is replete with vulgar jokes where the host is living out his day dreams of being a woman. They did a survey in isloo recently where a lot of men said they want to be like BNA i.e. dress up as a woman . What kind of bad role models are we setting in our society.

Lastly, its so very easy to get cheap publicity by using these gimmicky ways. If you're interested in doing something for society, as said by ali in his interview, then there are plenty of role models like Eidhi who're working for our betterment without making any shor sharaba about it.

Fahad Mustafa!!??!!

He does impersonations, and he speaks well compared to all other hosts we have such as Shaista and Nadia etc.. the show is spontaneous.. and fun! Out of the ordinary..not the usual stero-typical "ji aap aaj kal kiya kar rahay hain?" questions.. Not speaking abt his personal life at all.. just his professional life. He's popular for a reason.. and that's because he can get away with most of what other hosts can't get away with.

Re: QURBAN JAIEEAAY on ARY (Eid AlAdha Play)

his show is no-doubt a novel concept in terms of entertainment, but does he really have to be so blatantly sexual in his innuendos with the male guests :bummer: it makes me cringe and most of the time it is very apparent on the guests as well, he makes them uncomfortable, not with his line of questioning but with this body language and double entendres, it would be more fun to see the guests fidget using his wit rather than sexuality.

Re: QURBAN JAIEEAAY on ARY (Eid AlAdha Play)

I agree with wondergurl. He crosses the line.
Most of his jokes are double meaning.

I'm not going to comment on his personal life, or appearance but he/she definately conducts the show well and is a breath of fresh air from all those typical morning show hosts and celeb shows. The show has something different to offer, that's the character he's impersonating a flirty middle-aged lady.

The show is well-structured and the guests don't seem to be uncomfortable with his questions.. they all know the spirit he's asking such questions.

Re: QURBAN JAIEEAAY on ARY (Eid AlAdha Play)

^ I don't like him personally but if you talk about comparing his show with other morning /chat shows then BNA is slightly better in terms of novelty of concept and style of presentation . Also, he/she doesn't try to create rifts between people (which is a welcome break from other shows) and he/she doesn't use his program to settle his personal scores. so that way it has some pluses. if he could tone down his double meaning jokes it would help to make it more entertaining.

some do, but i recently watched one with shahzad roy and he seemed totally put off with BNA when she kept 'flirting' with him, at one point he even said kuch aur baat karien or something to that effect. if a guest is having fun with it, sure no harm, but no point in making them uncomfortable, sorta spoils it for the viewer as well. u know, be subtle, its more funny that way, instead of coming on like a ton of bricks.

^ Saw that one, but his attitude is the same with females as well.. like he was flaterring and flirting with ayesha khan as well.. it's just a part of the character.

Some people might shy away from appearing on BNA (which is understandable) but Khar didn’t feel any inhibition while flirting with him/her. Here’s an old article on his appearance in the show:
