^ don't forget shi-ite hypocrites... (i dare say we've seen them in this thread)... the ones that hide behind hadith reported by companions of the Prophet who they then unleash their insults at in the next breath... i've seen it with my own eyes, a pitiful sight really... don't bite the hand that feeds ya
^ try dictionary.com and find the real meaning of hypocrite
i will use ur own post and show you how hypocrite some of these companions were
first read the ayats i posted from surah al munafikoon..these hypocrites came to Prophet (pbuh&up) and said we believe you are the Prophet but Allah said nah they are hypocrites..eemaan is not in their heart
just like that ur companions praise the Family (a.s.) on one hand and then fought them on the other..and you are calling us hypocrites???? grow up
All Muslims Principally agree that Hazrat Ali was the rightly guided Khalifa. So we automatically on his side. And his opponent were wrong in fighting with Khalifa-e-wagat.
Have you seen any Muslim who hold view other than this(i.e Hazrat Ali was not rightly guided Kalif ?)
But according to his(and teaching of ahle-bait) we can not hate those who were
not in agreement with him.
Please state so if i am not aware of these (hate) teachings.
sigh hmm… that was one of the saddest times in the history of Islam, When Aisha rah and Ali rah went to war against each other. sad very sad…But neverthless it was God’s wish and none of Allah works are bare of Hikmah.
The truth is that…the two ancient tribes of Medinah that orgined from Yemen, Awz and Khazraj…were always in feud with each other. The arrival of Rasool sas, only surpressed their feud and animosity, but it never died out. And it was this animosity that the Jews kept stirring and provoking, and the results were seen very soon during the days of the Sahabah. And the sad thing is that we Muslims are still stuck in the very trap the Jews set for us.
lets leave khilafat aside for a moment..lets talk about the human being Imam Ali (a.s.)..the cousin and son in law of Prophet Mohummad (pbuh&up)..the only man who was born inside the house of Allah...cuz people fought him when He was khalifa and before it too
now if you read the ayat i posted from surah fatihaa
[Shakir 1:7] The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.
do you want to follow the path of "whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray." ??
it sure was sad…but think about it for a moment…you live with Prophet (pbuh&up) and you see how much Prophet (pbuh&up) loves His family..Even Allah talks about this Holy Family..yet you still fight His cousin and son in law..the person who won so many battles for Prophet (pbuh&up) and Allah
to you guys it may seem like a minor thing but really to us it does not
and bhai jang e jamal wasnt the only thing in history against this Family (a.s.)
thank you, Sheraz CT... the true colours of the shi-ites finally come through... i'd ask you to grow up as well but it's obvious you've more important problems to get over...
you forgot to look in Sahih Muslim - the book your colleagues here have been feverishly quoting from - for Hakim ibn Hizam who was “born inside the Ka’ba”…
well the same could be said for Ali rah. You are the Prophets cousin and you are his son in law…and you go and fight his wife in a battle, the wife he loved so much. Na auzo billah…mein Allah prevent from pinpointing and laying blames on Sahabah.
The truth is that what ever knowledge we have are from unconfirmed sources. We all know how history can be altered. We dont know what happened back then, the kind of stuff we read on sites and random books…is too lowly of people of the Stature of Aisha rah and Ali rah.
same could not be said for Imam Ali (a.s.)..he wrote letters to talha zubayr and aisha..warning against the unwise steps they had taken..they were ignored..even later he negotiated for peace with talha, zubayr and aisha and only zubayr realised his mistake and left but the other two still fought..and 10 000 muslims had to die because of it…it was the first battle between the muslims.. in this battle Imam Ali (a.s.) restrained his men from taking any war booty and all property found on the battle ground was gathered in the mosque of Basra, from where the owners could claim their possessions.
we believe Imam Ali (a.s.) to be infallible..He never made any mistake
u sure? then why they pay respect to thier enemies as well??
yeah, go ahead and put every bleme on Allah (swt). And what was his hikmah btw? That thousands of muslim would be cut down because some rebels dont want Ali (as) in power? or what??
starnge, they say they both were on the right side. Ali (as) will get double swab and muawiah will get single swab for doing the ijtehad and fighting with each other. BTW what would you say the person who gathered his forces against the Khalifa-e-wagat?? A Rebel?? be honest!
comon Dude! read the history and find out who called for the war. Do you know how Imam Ali (as) treated Aisha after her defeat?
History could have ben altered if it was written by a single person but there are a lot other historian which recorded the same incident. So they all lie huh?
Waisay, if Aisha was the member of Ahle-Bait then how could she go against the Amir-al-Momaneen, The Khalifa-e-Waqt. Does she fulfill the standard of being sinless and Tahir as Allah mentioned in 33:33?
heres another reference (sorry Code_Red)
Thalabi reports that when A-isha was asked as to why she violated the command of Allah “to stay in your houses” by going to the battle of Jamal against Ali, she said: “It was my fate. I saw the Holy Prophet taking Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain under his mantle and heard him saying: ‘O Allah, these are my Ahl ul Bayt. Keep off impurity from them.’ I asked him: ‘Am I not of your Ahl ul Bayt?’ He said: ‘Go away from here. You are not of my Ahlul Bayt.’”
