Re: quota system and Pakistan
sorry mate...my family left Pakistan to find better opportunities for themselves. and the members of my extended family in India who did that did well too. so when it comes to anyone screwing anyone else over. Thankfully the family was never in a position to look for quota based opportunities.
In the end whether the Indian side of the family or the Pakistani side of the family, the one that lives in bigger houses or drives bigger cars (if that is your definition of success) are the ones who worked harder and did not site and wait for handouts from anyone.
for some familes it was a 2 generation thign like the ppl themselves did not do so well but their kids did or grand kids did.
as far as ZAb using a diff formula or anything it was skewed in the favour of rural folks in his tenure.
In the end the point is that it is a messed up system and needs to be abolished over seriously overhauled no matter who started it, who benefitted from it or who was screwed over by it.
why not just abolish it?
