Lol. Admit it that you don’t know the answer

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

I do!! omg of course I do its neutron

I thought kids like kkf should get a chance you know :chai:

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

looks like you finally asked Google uncle! :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

From my chemistry days this is what I remember.

Nucleus has protons and neutron. Atomic number is the mass of protons. Atom wt is mass of protons + neutrons.

Atom wt roughly 2 time atomic number.

So mass of neutro = mass of protons?

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

Southie har cheez physics nai hotie :hoonh:

Har cheez physics nahi hoti but this was.

All of you are right, but philosophy and kkf are more right.

Mass of proton is 99.8% of neutrons mass, di almost equal

Chaliye. My cooler is taken away. Yet again. By the bee and the Khan.

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

main ek question poochta hoon. by virtue of which principle of physics do washing machines clean?
note: with or without detergents. the chemistry behind the working of detergents is a different thing altogether. i seek the principle of physics.

what's the story about your cooler?

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

1) mixing - rotation of contents
2) friction- as contents rotate, frictiion between them causes dirt to come off
3) heat - if heat cycle, enhances mixing and friction effects
4) detergent - surfactants causes better dispersion of detergent. Detergent may hag hydrophobicity - so removes greasy stuff.
5) shear effect of liquuid on dirt. Lifts it off cloth.

Centrifugal force

When you water a plant or a tree, what physical process makes the water reach the top most branch?

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

Capillary action?

Yes sir. You are right

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

That is why this guy is at a different pay grade.

Re: Quiz - Question of the Day

What happened to this thread? Should i start asking (physics) questions here?
