Re: Quick desserts
Non-cake Chocolate Trifle (My own recipe):
Need:
Chocolate mouse mix
Cool Whip (softened)
Mint chocolate cookies (I use "grasshoppers" here in the US) ---> Any chocolate cookie would work tho.
Make It:
1. Make chocolate mouse and set aside
2. take cookies and place in a plastic baggie and crumble/break the cookies so they are in small small crumble pieces.
3. In a bowl, first layer the chocolate mouse, then layer cool whip, then layer with cookie crumbs: then repeat until all the ingredients run out :)
4. Refrigerate until ready to serve
5. Garnish with a cookie right before serving.
This works really well especially in individual dessert dishes for dawats. Looks like it took forever to make but its suppppeerrr easy.

Re: Quick desserts
- grilled or caramelized fruit served over fav icecream ... yumm
- pies/tarts are super easy with premade crusts .. just add your fav cream or fruit filling.
- pieces of puff pastry, filled with chocolate (little bundle style) and baked.
Re: Quick desserts
^how about only your favourite ice cream and no fruits and fancy stuff on it
Re: Quick desserts
^works for me ... :D
One of my favorites has to be this dessert my aunt came up with. there's no name for it though!
You'll need:
1 pack of tea biscuits
1 cup milk in a bowl
One package of hersheys chocolate kisses (melted)
1 tub of whipped cream
Dip tea biscuits one at a time in milk and layer them next to each other in a rectangular dish. This will make one layer of dipped tea biscuits. Then add a layer of whipped cream on top. On top of that add a layer of melted hersheys kisses. Repeat the layers again starting with the tea biscuits until you have atleast 4-5 layers. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours and then eat. ITS SOOO GOOOD!
Re: Quick desserts
^melt the kisses in the microwave or over the stove?
