Quette ka Pathan, Peshawar ka Pathan

Re: Quette ka Pathan, Peshawar ka Pathan

Quetta itself is pashto word which means room…Quetta region was part of kandahar, it was sparsely populated area inhabited by pashtun kansi tribe…British laid the foundation of quetta city in 19th century so the city itself is not historical one while villages around the city were always pashtun…hazaras got settled in quetta from central Afghanistan in 1890s when they rebelled against amir abdul rehman there. Balochs begin to settle in the city after it was made capital of their province.

The historical centre of balochs was always kalat. Quetta is associated with pashtuns.
