Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

A few quick questions, I was watching this show on Islam and Muslims during the month of Ramazan and there were a few things mentioned which I hadn’t heard about (these were cited by Salafis)

  • They mentioned a spear that would be used against the Dajjal to kill him?

  • A mention of worms that would destroy Gog and Magog

  • Something about a beast that would mark people after which none could convert to Islam

Does anyone know anything else this?

Another unrelated question was about Hazrat Khizzar..I read that there is a shrine of sorts to Hazrat Khizzar somewhere in Western Punjab..in the Bhakkar-Mianwali belt..has anyone heard anything about that?

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

isnt hazrat khizr supposed to be still alive?

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

yeah..but the shrine has some link to Hazrat Khizr..hence my confusion !

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

assalamo 'alaikum

Syedina Khizr 'alaihissalam has so many shrines all over the Islamic world. They are not maqams of his resting place. But usually sites where people encountered him, Allah bless him. These are to be found all over the Arab world too, eg Jordan, Syria, Palestine, 'Iraq, Yemen etc etc

All the information the salafis gave regarding Ya'juj and Ma'juj, dajjal is present in the books of Hadith especially Sahih Muslim Shareef:

You can buy Urdu versions printed in Pakistan and read them, or even English ones in the UK.

Ya'juj Ma'juj will be killed by a disease from the neck of (some animal?), please refer to SaHiH Muslim Shareef.

Syedina 'Isa (Jesus) 'alaihissalam will kill the Dajjal with an arrow, as I read in a Hadith in SaHiH Muslim Shareef.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

The beast which u talk about refers to Dajjal. He will have curly hair and a patch over his eye (I've forgotten which eye.. the right eye, I think).

There is a place in Eastern Punjab, where, from what I know, someone encountered Prophet Khizer (AS), during the migration during partition, but I don't have any proof, nor do I think anyone will believe me, so I won't bother speaking more about it.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

interesting guys..if you find out anymore info about Hazrat khidr please post it

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Who's hazrat khizr?

I've heard about this beast you speak of - it was in an old Islamic school class, and I don't know where they got this reference from.

The beast would be a she-beast - part animal, part human, and will wander around marking people "heaven bound" or "hell bound", etc. After that your fate is fixed, and you can't undo your punishment with any number of good deeds.

I do not take responsibility for this story, since I don't know where the references are for it. If anyone has any further info from where this story comes from, please do share. Thanks.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

^ Oh my GOD...PCG you are it(the beast)....Run folks run...get out of FL as quickly as possible.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

In that case...

Kaleem : stamped on forehead "hellbound".

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

^ but I am not in FL....

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

The beast is called 'daabat-ul-ardh' or beast of the Earth and it will come out from the core of the Earth. It will be wearing a ring on his right hand and a stick (Moses's as'aa) on his left hand. He will mark all the Muslimeen with the ring on his right hand and will hit (to seperate them or to send them away) all the Kuffars with the stick.
This will be the hujjat on one's Imaan or Kufr.

No one could repent after Sun dawns from the west. That day will come very close to Qiyamaat.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

He is a Prophet whos journey(s) are mentioned in the Quran, but his name is not. He is still alive.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Didn;t he drink from the fountain of youth or something?

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Quite an imagination…

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

What? A prophet that is still alive? But doesn’t that deal a blow to the whole "Muhammed (SAW) was the last prophet? This is the first time I’m hearing of this. Quran quotations please?

Kaleem: Its all good. Neither am I any longer.

Smooth Guy: Source?

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Some ahadeeth that are quoted in Hidden Truth - End of Time series produced by ARY (Dr. Shahid Masood).

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Did you pay attention to note down those hadith references?

Afterall, you might have heard something wrong and you're putting forth slightly wrong info. ;)

Always have your references in order before you quack something.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

And Mohammed :saw: is still last prophet, last to come. Both Khizr and Jesus before prophet Mohammed and are still alive. I don’t know about Khizr’s emergence near qiyamat, but Jesus will not have his shariyah when he arrives back, but will be a follower of Shariyah of Mohammed pbuh.

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

There are 4 Prophets which are still alive, today, from what I’ve been told. Hazrat Isa (AS), Hazrat Khizar (AS), Hazrat Idrees (AS), and the last one I cannot remember. They all came before Hazrat Muhammed (SAW), so Hazrat Mohammed (SAW) is the last Prophet.

Haven’t you read about Prophet Moosa (AS) who once started to think that they were very wise, and intelligent and better than all other humans, until Allah had them meet Prophet Khizar?

Re: Questions:Gog &Magog/Ad Dajjal/Khidr

Nopes, I thought that was just Jesus.

So Khizar and the others are still walking on earth or are they up in heaven where Jesus is?
