Re: Questions for british guppies
If it's a serious question then.......
It's too huge a topic ...
There are many, many factors that contribute ...but one of the major ones stems from the origins and links back to Pakistan.
Pakistanis abroad generally live within the limits of what they would have lived in pakistan. An educated paki in pakistan will have certain takes on life, and wherever he/she goes will operate within that, bring their children to live up to that and so forth
An uneducated pakistani from a village/tribal area, can be taken out of the region but to some extent will still be tuned into the same values/honour from back home. And doesnt matter if they're abroad, they will live within the same limits
That i believe is the point of conflict
Youngsters being brought up in an english country wanting to be more englishified, elders emanating from parts of pakistan where to think of such would be thoroughly unacceptable.....and it's a cocktail that leads to disaster
Its not all doom and gloom though
For all the failures and dramatised stories you hear in the headlines, there are a hundreded success stories out there :)
So really...considering the amount of us here, on average we're just as problematic as any other pakis out there
In time things will change....im not the same as my parents, my kids wont be the same as me..
Lets see how it goes
