These questions are to answer by all those who believe ‘literaly’ that Jesus, son of Marry is alive and in Heavens and is set to descend from Heavens in later time:
If today Isa Ibn-e-Maryam (AS) descends from Heaven, how would you recognize him? Would he come in same spirit and body or would a new spirit and body be given to him?
Would all the people of the world recognize him at once? If not, how long would it take for him to accomplish his mission.
But before that, wouldn’t he go out and kill all the swines and destroy all the cross signs from all over the world. Going into each house and destroy all the crosses - I wonder how long would it take him to do this before he comes out and give guidance to people of the age?
Would he come as a status of ‘Nabi’? If he comes as Nabi, wouldn’t the Ayyat ‘Khatam-un-Nabiyyeen’ stand against his claim that no Nabi after Muhammad(PBUH) can come (as is understood by most of the muslims)?
Would he come for all mankind? If yes, then wouldn’t it disagree with Quran that Isa Ibn-e-Maryam was only sent to the people of Israel?
Would he be able convert all of the people into the fold of Islam? For that, would’nt he need to study Quran first, as it was not revealed on him? If he converts all the people into fold of Islam, wouldn’t it be a (Na’uzobillah) disgrace to Muhammad(PBUH) that an outsider (Nabi of Israel) comes to his people and takes the lead in converting people to Islam, when Muhammad (PBUH) couldn’t do it in his life time?
Please remain strict to the subject in answering the questions and refer your arguments from Quran/Hadith
He will come with the same body and spirit as he had when he was born in the world. Allah lifted him in heavens and he will send him back with the same body, same age and same spirit as Jesus is Alive not dead. Allah is Qadir-e-Mutlaq and he can do whatever he wants…its just a matter of Kun-Faya-Kun.
Those who have Imaan in their hearts will recognize him instantly. Others (who Allah swt wants to give hidaayah) will come to him due to his preaching.
Killing swines and breaking the cross doesn’t literally mean that he will do it all by his own hands…as its clear that he will have followers…so it will be done globally by himself and his jamaa’t. Inshallah.
He :as: is Nabi…he was granted nabuwat before Prophet Mohammed :saw: so the khatimun nabeen status of our Prophet is as bright as its in the Quran. Doesn’t matter if he comes as Nabi or an Ummati…his nabowat is older than Mohammed :saw:. However I heard from most people that he will be an ummati since he requested Allah to be an ummati of the Great Last Prophet :saw: about whom all the messengers have been told since Adam
As it is in the hadith that he will perform Fajr prayers with Muslims on his comeback, it shows that he will be a follower of Shariyat-e-Mohammedi
‘Was sent to Isrealites’ not ‘will be’. So he is to wrap up the game…so ofcourse he will come back from the whole Ummah (including Muslims, Jews, Christianity, Hindus, Budhists, Athiests etc etc).
I don’t know what triggers you to ask such a question. But the answer is NO. The people will be divided into two groups..Muslims behind Jesus and non-believers behind Dajjal. That explains everything. Since he has a task…so he will come with full command and knowledge. Thus we can say he will have knowledge of Quran. Its not difficult for Allah to teach Quran to a person in a millisecond.
And there is no disrespect for our Prophet :saw:, he is the source of the Shariya that Jesus will following, so you can conclude that they have their own significance and times. There are saints in Islamic history who have converted half a million people on their hands, so the quantity doesn’t make one greater than other. Allah has given different tasks and times to everyone. All who do efforts in the way of Allah are great…but ofcourse no one comes near to the Prophet Mohammed. He is one and only.

You are wanishing a running breathing man in God knows where for 2000 years and making him come back God knows how, and I have to accept you because you say Allah is Qadir-e-Mutlaq. But when I say Allah is Qadir-e-Mutlaq and he sent down a prophet, like he did 124000 times ... you say no He is not?!

You can take whatever meaning you want. But if you tell this to anyone, he or she probablly will say that it means that he and his followers will accomplish this task collectively. As Prophet :saw: preached Islam to almost all of the Arab in his life time, but it doesn’t literally mean that all the people became muslim on his hand. Because we know that there were jamaa’ts of Sahaba sent to the tribes far away in Arab Peninsula for tableegh. Who did that? Prophet :saw: so we can say that he spreaded Islam in the Arab peninsula in his life.
Moreover, if you tell your accountant to issue a check for charity purpose to so and so organization. The money is still donated by you, accountant is a medium.
Sir, all I know is that ‘inna ma tukhliful meeAd’ Allah doesn’t break his promise. He does what he says. He said Prophet Mohammed :saw: you are the last prophet. So period. No question no answer. He will not do it since he said so.

So greatest Prophet :saw: was not able to convert his own nation during his life time.. and you expect Jesus (as) to comeback and bring the victory converting everyone to Islam and killing all the infidels (plus pigs) during 7 years.. Wow..Talk about beleiving in Khatme Nabuwwat..

Hazrat Eesa :as: will come, he will kill every swine and break the cross…How will that be accomplished? The same way Nooh :as: was saved and the world perished, the same way Eesa :as: brought the dead back to life through Allah :swt:'s intercession, the same way Pharoah was destroyed, the same way earth was created…I can go on and on…Point being, if Allah :swt: wills it, it shall be so…
Allah :swt: said no more prophets…No more prophets…Of course there would be claimaints of prophethood, god and Mahdi, but they would only be idiots parading as prophets…And of course it wouldn’t take the idiot man claiming to be a prophet to make even more idiots than himself believe in him…
“O children of Adam, when Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing MY Signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve.” (Koran, 7:35)
Kindly explain this verse in the light of your above saying. Has this verse become Mansookh after the verse of the Seal of Prophets?

Jabir ibn 'Abdullah said, "I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying, 'A party of my ummah will never stop fighting for the truth victoriously until the Day of Rising.' He said, 'Then ‘Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, will descend and their amir will say, "Come and lead us in prayer," but he will say, "No! some of you are amirs over others," as Allah's showing honour to this ummah.'" Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated, "The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: ‘There is no prophet between me and him, that is, ‘Isa, peace be upon him. He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill the pig, and abolish the jizyah. Allah will cause to perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Dajjal and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.’" (Abu Dawud)
Hudhayfah ibn Usayd al-Ghifari said, "The Messenger of Allah (saas) came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: ‘What are you discussing?’ We said: ‘We are discussing the Last Hour.’ Thereupon he said: ‘It will not come until you see ten signs before it’ – and (in this connection) he made mention of the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of ‘Isa the son of Maryam (as), Yajuj and Majuj, and landslides in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia at the end of which fire will burn forth from the Yemen, and drive people to the place of their assembly." (Sahih Muslim)

The ‘ulama (Islamic scholars) say that the meaning in this hadith of his acting as a just judge/ruler is that he will judge by the shari’ah of Islam, i.e. by the judgements in the Book of Allah, the Qur’an, and in the Sunnah of the Last Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah surely knows best. As seen, verses on Jesus' (as) return to the earth are very explicit and remarkable. No similar statements are made for any other prophet mentioned in the Qur'an. Furthermore, no other prophet is referred to as "a Sign of the Hour" and no statement used for any other prophet in the Qur'an includes any connotation implying their return to the earth. However, all these statements are used for Jesus (as). The meaning of this is very clear.
