sure...I WANT to do the second one...but realistically...which would you rather pick......
Since you said in Equation-1:
x+y=1
therefore:
x=1-y
Now, lets get to Equation-2:
x+y-z+ab-xy+1(x+b)=1
which is same as:
x+y=z-ab+xy-1(x+b)+1
x+y=z-ab+xy-x-b+1
==> x+y=z-ab+(1-y)y-1+y-b+1 (we plug in 1-y=x)
==> x+y=z-ab+(1-y)y+y-b
==> x+y=z-b(a+1)+y(1-y)+y
Now, unless you define the variable a, b, y as zero, your equation may not be solvable meaning the 2nd type of complicating women you are trying to explain can't exist mathematically.
And if you do define the variable a, b, and y as zero, in that case, we have the following:
In eq. 1:
x + y = 1
==> x + 0 = 1
therefore: x = 1
And, in eq. 2:
x+y-z+ab-xy+1(x+b)=1
==> x+y=z-b(a+1)+y(1-y)+y
==> x + 0 = z-0(0+1)+0(1-0)+0
==> x = z
==> z = x = 1
