Re: question for women...
^ JL, I really do count myself in the lucky ones :)
I get more help than I need.. I still whinge about it though lol..
I work full-time and look after my child. I stayed home for the first year because I wanted to be there and build a bond with my bubz.. but now she's in the phase of wanting interaction with kids... kids dont get enough stimulation at home.. I see how excited she is to see kids and how proud she is of herself when she achieves something.. and the munchkin aint even 18 months yet!
As i've said many times before, couples are individuals.. they have different ways of working. We as a team think we both need to work.. and dont get me wrong.. we spend lots of quality time with our bubz...
as for those women who say that they will work until they have kids... thats great. But honestly, u will need to reassess ur sitation once you have kids.. So dont be so adamant about or sure about what ur gonna do.. things change.. thats why, in the back of my head.. i always think i may one day stop working full-stop... and how are we as a family gonna cope then... u have to be ready for the worst... and it seems, in most of ur cases... the worst is having to work... so be ready for that :) life is exciting..
