it is about box office what matters not a few peoples opinions, just look at rang de basanti in india, reviews are crap but the film is doing amazingly well at the box office.
same with munich it got great reviews but the film floped.

From a whimper to a non-whimper. We're talking about the much-awaited flick Pehla Pehla Pyar, which finally made it to the cinemas. But from what we have been told by our moles, the film did not even create a mini moan at the box office. Its premiere was held at a cinema in Karachi, which was attended by quite a few members of the glitterati, thanks to the personal PR of Mussarat Misbah, the name behind Depilex Vision, which produced the film. We are told that there were quite a few hiccups in the movie and the report so far is that it has failed to draw in the masses. Oh, and it seemed rather odd that the scriptwriter of the movie, Irfan Ahmed Urfi, who despite being in Karachi, was not invited at the premiere. Also missing from the scene was Navaid Rasheed aka Tony who was the production coordinator of the project and also had a small role in it. Strange indeed!**

just came here to say congratulations to mubasher lucman for making a fine film.i saw the film 3 days ago here in lahore and i can say its the best film ever made in pakistan or atleast since the 70s when the industry was big.we as pakistanis should be proud to have lucman in the industry we need more directors like him to revive the industry, hopefully shoaib moonsoor, saqib malik and jaweid shiek can make there films as good like this is well to really get this industry moving.as for the box office goes, the film is going strong here cos it was housefull nearly were i saw it, people looked excited and happy as they left the cinema and looked satisfied with the film, word of mouth is strong cos thats why i came to the cinema after a few friends and cosins told me it was good otherwise i would have never gone to see it. :)

Hello all

I am sorry I have not been in touch. First week it was the film that made me travel a lot to different cities. Then my mother had a massive heart attack and was hospitalised. A few days back my elder brother who was just 49 died from a cardiac arrest. You will appreciate that I am in no mood to come online or chat at this time. But I will Inshallah, once I am free of some domestic chores and my mother is better. I shall come and tell you everything you ever wanted to know.

You know he was my favourite brother. We were all five and now four of my brothers have passed away. My father also died when he was just 42. I dont think many can appreciate the loss but yes I would like to thank you for your condolence message and the sms you sent.

Well...a mole tells us here that Mr.Mubasher Lucman is preparing to launch a full fledge defense plan in order to clarify his position in the fraud allegations...he's some new projects in his hands...and he couldn't find the chance to address this matter earlier due to the sad demise of his brother and his mother's illness...hope he starts from gupshup...waiting...
