Re: Question for Mr Lucman / Mubasher Lucman Corner (Merged)

Well I never implied that anyone is a randi. All i meant was that its here where you can actually learn your dancing skills, so even if you do nto belong to that place or area chances are you will be influenced by it directly...

Yes I Know Shahid Nadeem Sahib...

On dance directors, I confess there haev to be some of us who must start ti\o contribute to the education of teh local lot. But a few out there do not even want to get educated. I will give you an example. We hired a local DOP (Camera MAn) I asked him to join us in Thailand and be an observor, after that there was a three weeks course by American Cinematographers Association in Far East Kodak ahd agreed to sponsor our DOP for this one. The idea was that he would observe our Indian friends and later do this course in Singapore and join us for the rest of the film about 60 % in pakistan. He refused he thought I was trying to tell the world that he is not educated!!!!!!!!!! I had to shift my entire shooting to another part--Dubai to gett he same team....how can you teach someone who does nt wish to learn. There are people like Khanu who are exceptionally good and keen to learn. I agree but then thats the job of the major studios to train their own employees..like Evernew Studios etc....I mean all over the world big budget films are made by studio owners and they invest in their employees to learn emerging technology and thats how it goes. In Pakistan these people have made studios out of films and still do nto wish to invest in films or their staff..how can you explain that???
