Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

Salam people

I have a question from the Ahmadi/qadiyani people.. I want to know that what do u guys do if some one passes away? Like do u guys do Quran khowani or khatamul quran?

Just want to know what is the procedure. How many days to u take the fatiha like we have fatiha for like 40 days and every Thursday and Friday we have quran khiwani and giving away food to poor people and etc..so it is the same for qadiyani people?

thanks in advance

Attia

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

Salam Attia, i only want to know, can you privide any Hadith and vers of Holy Quran where we find the practise of Quran khowani or khatamul quran in the time of AnHz Mohammad :saw: or later by Sahabas (ra).

As much I know Ahmadi Muslim dont do this, cuz we dont find such practise done by AnHz Mohammad :saw:, so plz let me know about this.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

strange if we can watch indian move all togather why not read quran togather.
i dint see any thing wrong with it. the purpose of Quran Khowani is for (isala swab) to dead person and Its mentiond by Prophet Muhamed(SAWW) also.
if we can read quran alone we can also read quran in group. in the masjid if you go for prayer you will find lots of people there reading quran.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

I dont say reading Holy Quran is wrong, I only asked is this practice also done by AnHz Mohammad :saw:? as much I saw when I lived in Pakistan, reciting Quran was always a bahana, acctually ppl wants to eat and have gossip together.

Another example. making Dua(with hands) after Namaz. Ahmadi Muslims dont do this, cuz this isnt prooved in Hadith and from the sunnah of AnHz Mohammad :saw:, Namaz is itself a dua.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

^But isn't namaz worship? It's different from dua, isn't it?

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

very true…first of all we dont read Quran or do any such thing when a person passed away and second is that we dont do dua (with hands) after namaaz becuz Namaz itself is a dua..

providing any hadith regarding reading quran when a person passed away will be much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

why do u read surah fateh in namaz?

why do u read " inni wajahto wajeeha …" in namaz?

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

Attia, Qadiyanis/Ahmadis don't do quran khwani or chaleswaaN. Most devout Ahmadis do not take part in someone else's chaleswaaN or Quran Khwanis. Well, for that matter Ahmadis do not take part in namaz-e-janazah of non-Ahmadi Muslims unless there is no one else to take responsibility of namaz-e-janaza of that non-Ahmadi.

Also another custom very common in non-Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan is to raise hands for Dua-e-maghfirat (Fatiah) when someone visits deceased family for mourning. Ahmadis do not follow this custom as well, instead Fatiah is encouraged to be read at the grave side of the deceased.

The reasoning for the above is to stay in accord with the sunnah of Holy Prophet (saw).

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

chaleeswaan and other such bid'at have nothing to do with Quran and Sunnah....
they r invented and more traditional than religious....
they shud be avoided....

ppl who stick close to the Quran and Sunnah avoied such bid'aat....

according to saheeh hadith, one of the time of acceptance of duaa is after teh fardh prayers....
but i have seen that ahl-e-hadeeth ppl do not pray (make duaa) after the prayer....
they believe that this duaa that is mentioned in hadith (after the farh prayer) is the duaa that is read in the prayer after the durood shareed and before the salaam....

the raising hands for fateha is also an indo/pak regional thing....
havent seen such a thing in the arab world....

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

We are muslims 100% We believe our jamaat is doing better service to islam than others. What we do if someone passes away, does not make difference .Do not forget we burry them since we are muslims. We read talqeen in qabar. Mei janon or mera allah. what we do ,we are answerable to God, no one else.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

So, ahmedis don’t consider non-ahmedis their equal and unfit for salvation…in essence munkir and destined for hell…

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

No.

Ahmadis don't consider themselves to have the monopoly on salvation or the authority on decisions on who is hell bound and who isn't.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

Not reading the Janaza prayers is for the reason
a. The Imam leading the prayers considers Ahmadis as non-muslims and following such persons in religious observence is incorrect.

b. or that deceased opposed the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi by their actions/words. Hence their matter rests with God.

If any of the above conditions apply, Ahmadis will not pray the Janaza prayers of such person.

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

^
the dead (muslim) wud be relieved to know that his janazah was not attended by ppl who believed in a false prophet....
thanx for this good gesture....

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

Qadiyanis = non-Muslims

A simple equation for those looking in the hard to find places...

Re: Question for all the Qadiyani peoples over here

is marrying cousins less common among qadianis than other muslims in pakistan? i have often caught myself wondering how teh ahmedis on this forum tend to be smarter - almost as bright as indians.
