Captain bhai, i can understand the idea of number of posts. If the pre requisite is for one to have an x number of posts then I have no problems with it. However, just because my thinking is more conventional (culturally) it does not mean that I will not be a good moderator.

Its not just about the “number”, there are several factors like how actively you visit site, what is nature of your posts i.e. quality, are you a hotheaded/offensive-to-members, for how long have you been here etc etc

Many people have said I have to kiss ass to become a mod which I don’t do. So I guess i’ll just have to live with being a normal member.

That I don’t know about, but I’m pretty sure this idea came from people who wanted to be a mod just like you want it but didn’t get it
