I want to be a mod because I think I'm different (not better or worse) than most of the mods and members here. I say what I feel; I don't sugar coat things and I don't worry about how it will sound. What I do try to do is keep a level of respect for everyone.

I think GS could really use a mod like me; one who allows the controversial topics to be discussed and not close down anything on the edge.

Anil,
One day, I got a PM in my inbox from ehsan uncle asking me to be a Mod for the Cafe. I PMed him back to confirm that he was being serious. He confirmed it, and I gladly accepted. :phati:

…and that’s when some people started being mean :slight_smile:

Thanks for the info Phatima. Although I must make a comment about Cafe. It is the most pointless forum on GS. The dumbest things are discussed over there. People congratulating each other on their 73rd post, or 12 534 post. ugh.

The best forums are the cricknama, general, shorsharaba (the first one) and health and relationship one.

Just my thoughts.

Well yes, Shikra just stated that he did two posts above you. :slight_smile: I suppose it also has to do with not causing any problems and getting along with people well too. That would exclude mocking certain groups of people.

Actually, there’s a rule that people can only open post congrat. threads on 100/500/1000 and any other interval of 1000 posts. :smiley:

But I guess you’re just too smart and sophisticated for the silly old Cafe anyways :rolleyes:
