amir, the majority of autistic people arent retarded (meaning mentally "slow"). And some people who are mentally slow are so close to the norm that most people dont realize theres something different. Yet, they avoid "typical" interactions because they've been persecuted. And all of these people can - and do - have their own homes, live in communities and try their best to fit in. They guy you see visiting him can likely be a "mentor", one who makes sure that he's getting by and getting along on his own. These things are things that I know from looking into what could possibly happen when my own special needs boy grows up. And when he does, I sincerely hope he finds neighbors who are big-hearted enough to find out who/what he is and to accept him - oddities and all.

Well rust me im not the tyep really to make fun of people if i knw they are unwell...he actually seem sperfct and healthy...he hasa good car..he goes to work in a suit..hes well off

awwww. Amir, I didnt mean in any way to make you feel bad. I was just hoping to prod some understanding. My son too looks all healthy and happy but has "people trouble" but then again so do I lol! I have friends here on GS and chat my arse off but in real life I'm kind of a hermit because most people are just plain mean. No need to close the thread, we are doing good things here for people and their interactions I think, dont you agree?
