no i’m not getting married any time soon or anything lolz :stuck_out_tongue: but I’m just wondering what qualities you would look for or prefer to have in your future spouse?

the question is for girls and guys

and for married ppl, u too, u can share which qualities u like in your spouse :slight_smile:

I dunno, the whole idea of prefering qualities in your spouse is having expectations and then if the spouse does not live up to it then they're broken.

If your looking for basic qualities, I'd have to say religion and family values along with intelligence and wisdom; culture can take a jump in the pits as far as I care, its too much jargon.

I think I have to agree with coco with some points.
expecting some qualities give you a view of how that person will be, and if not then it can be painfull for a person.

but that doesnt mean people dont have such expectations, ...

I always wanted him to be partly like me, doing crazy things, and willing to take some risks when it comes up to life, being mature where needed, and funny with hasis mazaakh where neccesary.

Most of the times I tend to freak out with things, and going till the end for things or issues. so I need a person who holds me back when I dont see the light anymore.

I guess till now I got the person I wanted,

If you just started thinking about it you are looking for "gods gift to mankind"

If you have been looking for a while without any positive news, "any decent reasonable looking person" would do

If its been ages and nothings happening, "anyone not in Jail" is fine.

Also seperate "what you want" in a spouse and what you think "your parents want" in your spouse and most importantly, what you think "the society around you wants" in your spouse.

That is what really shows you what you want and what you dont.

hmmm.............i never cared to think about it before marriage ....in other words i am not idealistic ..........!!!!!!

but now i think i'm blessed as i've almost nothing to dislike but some very very little things.........like getting up sooo late in morning....or when his plate is not clean after meal n he says i've finished.......(oh God ...ammi always scolded us for that)

n i think there should be some tits bits of these differences.......just be flexible n you will enjoy .......!!!!:)
