I don't mind having an ugly spouse, but I draw the line at a fat one. The only way I'd accept having a fat spouse is if she put on the weight after marriage.

See this is one of the reason I HATE GUYS, they want a beautiful girl, but they can look like dogs, they want her to be thin while some of them are cows. The make the girl depressed, go through an eating disorder, hate her life, all because of them. I wonderr why there are guys in this world, God should have stoped while he was molding the clay of Adam in his hand.

Majestic, before you start on with the same old "guys-are-not-worth-existence" bash, just think reasonable for a moment. Guys are so happy living their simple n innocent life...its actually girls who make them so choosey. Had there not been so much "variety" of girls around, there wouldnt have so many demands at first place...simple, aint it :)

and on the other hand girls[which is true for everybody] should be strong enough to believe in themselves; for who they are. not all the guys out there want slim spouses.

I never really thought abt this issue.
However, I would love it if my future spouse is,

understanding, broadminded, financially stable whereby we can have a decent living(I am not materialistic); if I can get that then I have no qualms in worshipping that person.

But most importantly, one needs to have some sort of feelings for the other person.
