What can we say about Zidane. A magician with the ball - whenever he gets the ball it seems it gets stuck with his feet. He has incredible ball control, the movement and vision around him.
It seems the French are getting better and better. By winning against the Brazilians this no doubt has given them big confidence and psychological edge over Portugal.
Also - a lot of the players in the French team have previous experience f winning the World cup - so they already know what they will need to do to win it again.
wow! What a performance by this so called 'old' team. Zidane was IMMENSE at the center of midfield. He pulled all the strings and Brazil had no answer. France played a near perfect match and It could only have been bettered by another goal or two because they totally deserved one.
It was said all along that Brazilians are not playing like champions but some posters here were so hung up on them that even a minor step over by fat ronaldo was seen as 'stroke of a genius'. Today we saw strokes of two maestros in Zidane and Henry. Both had marvellous games. I am rooting for France to play the final (but lose to Italy sadly ;) ) The way France have emerged after two disappointing opening games is absolutely fantastic.
Brazil were outsmarted, outthought, outplayed and outclassed. I am happy that we will have a different champion again :-)

great defensive display by france,only one shot allowed at goal against a team like brazil..thats an amazing stat.Portugal would struggle to beat France in this form, it will be France vs Germany from the look of it

Zidane deserves to win the world cup for France, he was amazing to watch, such a shame he won’t be playing any more. I hope he coachs a team in the near future, he looks better in a suit anyway.
And whoever said Brazil deserved to lose, I agree, they deserve to lose every game they play.
I’m sad Brazil lost.. But i blame it on theirself though.. It wasn’t a great match they played yesterday..Especially Ronaldo.. he was just messing everything up.

I have received insider information stating that Brazil was paid to lose the France Match.
On second thought, I do remember a lot of strange non-brazilian like activity on the feild. Anyone else notice how the goalie was "fixing his socks" while the ball zoomed by? Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
