Actually, in 1975, players were confused between test and limited overs (ODI was new thing). Gavaskar was consolidating the inning thinking that he was plying test match, but when he realised that he was playing ODI, overs got finished (empire nay unglee utha dee, out honay kee nahi, march khatam honay kee).
