I saw one of the leaders of JI at an airport a few years ago in Pakistan. In contrast to other politicians that like to show off and be escorted as VIPs and have guards all around, the JI seems to consist of educated and down to earth leaders that that are not fearful of the masses and can easily mingle with them, they are also more honest than most of politicians belonging to the secular parties, and seem to be more principled.

his issue with Allah from hereon…but he played a big role in bringing Pak to this condition…

One day every one has to die. Only good deeds are remembered. If people remember this, usually they avoid to live a sinner's life unless he is a hypocrite atheist.

May he rest in peace. Btw, I never agree with JI and QHA's politics, but you have to give him and JI credit. They're the only party where they have democratic elections within the party, and don't play dynastic politics.

With all the due respects on his passing away, I think JI has above attributes actually due to Maudoodi.

But as leader Qazi Hussain never challenged that and supported it always. Although I disagree with the JI's politics, they are at least a role model for how Pakistani political parties should run themselves.

One thing is for sure the polarization of the society has increased so much that its clearly evident on the death of Qazi Hussain Ahmed. While PTI/PMLN supporters are mourning his death (many PTI supporters displaying Qazi's pictures on their DPs), the seculars and Pashtun nationalists are questioning his stance viz a viz war and terror (and hence his role in the destruction and killings brought upon pashtuns).

^ Indeed. It is unfortunate. But I have seen even some liberal journalists and twitteratis NOT doing that and instead praying or wishing him a peaceful journey.

raajiuon. He was too weak physically to lead the party but he did it last time he has been ameer. His devotion was touching, he didnt even use walking stick during party functions as he was supposed to.
