Guys please post information about Qatar air from USA, i just bought tickets from Dallas to Khi for Qatar air, i have always travelled Emirates and never had issues been pleasent, but got a better deal for Qatar this time, if there a big gap between Emirates and Qatar Air??? Thanks for the help in advance.

No there's no big gap. Its a very cool airline. You wont hv any complain inshallah. Just relax and enjoy your trip.

Doha airport is beautiful, im sure you'll luv to surf around.

I have 7 hours stay in Doha will go to my uncles house for couple of hours and chilax, he lives close to the airport, thanks for the update dude.

never flew with them but there are supposed to be good.

with all the Middle Eastern Airlines, the common problem is the difference in level of service across their network. the in-flightservices to and from the western / first world are much better than the ones they have to the third world and the sub-continent. since majority of passengers to and from third world countries are labor class, they get away with dismal services. that's what my experience has been on Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Etihad and Royal Jordanian.

Btw somebody (Muslim) was telling me Qatar airways provided them kosher food (not halal) and I was like how is it possible, they should have provided halal food and nothing else. Does anybody know about it?

if it's packed in the US, Canada, the Muslim meal is often termed as 'Kosher' instead of 'ZabeeHa'...i dunno where this term Halaal came from...it should be labelled as 'Zabeeha'. :)

I flew with both Qatar and Emirates and to me their services are pretty much the same. So far, I am fine with their services. Doha airport is nice as well.

Just got back from Pakistan last week after spending a month there had a blast, went via Qatar air and I have to give them 4.5 out of 5 stars, reason for .5 deduction is they can do better on the quality of food, but seats are bigger than emirates and more leg room, but overall great experience.

From Doha to Pakistan or ise versa, its mostly desi food but they give you option for ccontinental option also, however i will never pick that, we actullay love the food between doha / pakistan sector.

By this time, I'm sure you have tried flying with Qatar Air. I'm wondering how did it go? Is it better than EK? I have tried EK 3 years ago and it was good. I heard Qatar is a bit better.
