I tried Qahwa from Iranian restaurant, similar to Pakistani Qahwa but lighter in taste because they add warm water to dilute the *talkhi *of Qahwa on demand....
main pani main shehad dal ka pee longa.. joshanda nahi…
We also add honey in Qahwa, then there is another type of tea called green tea or Chinese tea.. I heard green tea boost metabolism of body and reduces fat
Qahwa is what modern world knows as coffee. Arabic qahwa is quite thick and extremely bitter in texture and taste. What is famous in Pakistan as qahwa is actually a hot drink made from green tea
i've never tried qahwa before and i do NOT intend to do that ever! aisii talKh cheez ko kia muNh ko lagaanaa jo saarii zindagii yaad rahe aur us talKh tajurbe se Daraataa rahe.
to be honest, i am not very fond of anything that is even remotely Arabian except my religion and Arabi zabaan.
so you want to say that Pashtun / Afghan people follow Chinese traditions of Qahwa rather than Arabic traditions. Interesting

They are not following Arabic tradition for sure. Don’t know if this concoction that is called qahwa in Afghanistan/Pakistan has Chinese roots or not, but it might be the case. Well, tea leaves originated from China anyways, so the logical answer is yes

Yea Qahawa in our regions is green tea , not coeffee. I think its due to large consumption of green tea beside active life, that afghans in general are lean and smart.
