Khoji, let me make one point very clear to you and other other’s on this forum who refer to Ahmadis as anything other than ‘Ahmadis’. It is as offensive as calling an African American a ‘niger’, a person of Pakistani or Indian decent a ‘Paki’, or a homosexual a ‘faggit’.
If you do continue to use any term other than ‘Ahamdi’ your intention is to offend the followers of this faith. It’s needless to say but I’ll say it any way, show some respect. It’s common decency, I’m not asking for much!
In answer to your question…
There is no way to prove whether the terrorists would or wouldn’t have attacked the Ahmadi mosques on May 28th if the laws against Ahmadis had not been in place. But why waste time contemplating what would have/ wouldn’t have happened when the situation requires us to look at what DID happen and prevent it from happening again!
What is aboslutely certain is that the hatred that is expressed against Ahmadis in acts of violents is a result of systematic and continuos dicrimination agianst people of the Ahmadiyya Muslim faith and having laws against this group not only legitimizes the acts of violence but it also encourages people to openly encourage and be involved in such henious crimes.
Naseem Mahdi Sahib is doing nothing but asking the US government to put pressure on Pakistan to reinstate basic human rights to Ahmadis living in Pakistan. **Don’t Ahamdis as citizen of this world have the right to ask for justice? Especially at a time when such a blunt act of injustice took place? **
What would you do if your sect was being discriminated? Would you stand and watch in silence as your loved ones are left without a guardian, an offspring, the bread winners? I know what any body else would do. They’d do EVERYTHING in their power to get justice.
