It’s funny you say that, often times when I really need to say something important, I do word/reword/rereword things. It really depends if I want to say a serious thing, ill put more thought/consideration into what i say..esp when opening a thread!

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers

Yes, I'm in awe of what kind of dirt you have on the higher ups that u became mod....:D I kid I kid! You're one of hte rare people whose laid back and can take a joke yet not become a doormat, so, yeah, that's pretty cool.

Were you ever close to warning me when I wasn't a Mod?
[/quote]

Lol, yes I came close a few times, but you were very pleasant to deal with so PMs were usually enough to keep you in check.

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers

What makes you think I'm not a man?

Why do you assume I'd say not?

Chicken.

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers

Not just one but I admire alot of people for different reasons. Almost everyone has a few good qualities about em...to state everybody I admire/respect would take up far too much space and I'd still unintentionally forget a few and end up hurting some feelings. But for hte most part--Sahar, Niksik, njgal, queer TLK, sweetif Sehrysh partyslims--they're just a few of the ppl I respect and admire for whatever they bring to discussions and their personal interactions.

Make sure there's not a hook attached to it.

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516’s Answers

What multis? :lb: Well to start, the password is the same for all of them. There’s only 1 other one that I use almost as regularly and everyone knows and that’s Mrs Saieen. The reason I came up with so many multis is because I used them to talk about some personal problems that I was having. Since that didn’t work out so well, I just stopped using them. Well some I use here and there for jokes or to discuss something personal…but as far as flaming/trolling, nah. There is no consistent persona.

Initially I started coming on GS for time pass…I never realized I’d stay here for so long! I’ve made lots of friends and met many people over the years I"ve been here and built a deep friendship with quite a few. Also, I’ve been pretty honest about it, but I will admit that I learned more about Pakistanis and Islam after joining Gupshup. It was (and in most ways) is still a good way to educate myself about people and human behavior in general. I’ve browsed other forums and lost interest VERY quickly and I think what sets GS apart from all of the others is the feeling of familiarity here as well as really strict moderation–so props go to mods/admin for running a tight ship here and making sure the forum is generally free of filth. The fact is, that in over 6 years I’ve never “left” GS in teh sense that something here was so bothersome that I had to leave. If that makes any sense lol

Cake. To bake.

Its the magic of a good camera and lighting  No really–I wish I could tell the secret, :hinna: but in all honesty I guess I am just very fortunate in that regards!

Not as bad as I felt when I saw my pic on ratedesi. You know, initially I was very angry and upset that my photo had been stolen and used. Of course I knew that once you post something online, esp on a public forum such as this, it’s open to scrutiny and being misused, but it’s still surprising when it happens to you. I did get over it and moved on with my life; many people urged me to file a law suit or take some sort of legal action but it really wasn’t worth the trouble for me. Last year, I walked past the store and found that the pic had been taken off finally. Ultimately, I took it as a sign of flattery, that of the millions of brides on google, my boothi was good enough to go public (even if the shopowner wouldn’t believe that it was me sigh). :hehe:

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers

No i don't think it should be banned. I believe that people should have a right to marry whom they want to marry. Plus, it's allowed in Islam so who am I to say it needs to be banned? However, I absolutely believe that like almost everything, it's been misused and abused--like being forced to marry your own cousin.

I was like, WHERE HAVE I SEEN HIM BEFORE?! My mind was going into overdrive trying to place your face. I finally figured it out and by then it was my time to go.

Suck in my stomach and stand up straight.

Find out who the guppan is, find out what was going on and kill her or kill him…depending on what happened.
PS CM, can you please stop sending your pix to his inbox? :the pink bikini isn’t a good look for u :frowning:

Yes but only if they’re going to lead to something offline, such as a relationship or marraige. If it comes to freindship and it’s only meant to stay online, then both parties have to understand that real life comes first before them.

I have a feeling you are.

Sure. :hugz:

Gosh why would anyone want to hear that boring old story? It’s ancient as time…
Well we kind of met on GS. I remember I was in a msn chatroom and I added him thinking he was someone else. We started talking randomly every so often. Ummmsomestufflater, our families met we got engaged and then we got married.

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516’s Answers

:teary1: Turqoise, royal blue, cerulean, navy blue, basically all shades of blue.

Variety. Go to any highly populated area, and you will find about a dozen options for one single thing, be it clothing, food, etc. The worst thing? it can get quite crowded, especially the tourist areas, as well as public transportation.

I think people are a mix of both. I see this behavior alot online, where they think they are right and there’s no room for others opinions. We’ve ALL met someone like that right? For the most part, I’m ready to acknowledge where I went wrong and made mistakes and I’m not afraid to apologize IF I think it’s necessary and I intend on rectifying my behavior.

When they look at me funny

Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers

Nope, no regrets. But I'm also wary of giving anyone advice in real life, I take my time and think it out before I say something. Online, it's actually much easier--just because I offer my input in a thread doesn't mean the person has to follow it and since they ask in a public platform, they have the option of ignoring it. I know everyone has a different way of looking at something, so when you ask questions on a forum you have the luxury of following one but not the other. In real life, there's a bigger responsibility to be sensitive and give good advice.
