Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: Sara516's Answers
Do you think Life1 ever changed your views?
Yes, like I said in one of hte answers above, I learned far more about desis when I joined Life1. After some time, i'm not sure if it's because of life1 or just real life experiences, I realized that things are not always so black and white. And in real life, not every thing is a gender war. It's good to discuss things and learn from others but people should realize that what you (generally) think is not the absolute. But more than changing my views I think life1 and GS in general helped me change the way I interacted, both online and offline.
Do you find the advice here helpful?
In all honesty, not always. Life1 is a wonderful place for discussions and learning about a person's views and stuff, but personally I believe in relying on friends to give advice. You have to realize that when you go online, you're going to get advice on bits and pieces of things...no one can ever completely have the full story but only give advice based on whats given to them by the original poster
Do you think people here actually would act on the extreme views that they sometimes have in their real life?
Sometimes!
How many times have you been really been angry at stuff said in Life1?
Many times unfortunately, whether it was certain views or just a person's attitudes. I try not to let it bug me anymore--after some time I've realized that its useless to get into discussion with such people. And honestly, one of the advantages of not being a mod anymore is having the right to walk away and ignore it.
Who do you think is the best poster in Life1 that you respect and like?
The best? Myself of course :p
No seriously--I can't say the best because alot of people make Life1 what it is!
But I would say the consistent gems of Life1 would have to be redvelvet, CM (when he's not being a troll), Gidsa, Niksik/TLK, sehrysh, sahar02 off the top of my head.
