You can find plenty of married Kaurs as well. My reason was different cause my hubby isn’t singh(Sikh). Kaur is punjabized form of Kunwar, Sikhs even have unisexual name, main reason of having uni-sexual name was to eliminate difference between girl and boy that was/is prevalent in Punjab:). so possibility of finding Harpreet Kaur and Harpreet Singh is equally likely:)

PS. i have male and female friends named harmeet, bunty, sonu, etc. but then i have friends (both male and female) named cameron, ricky etc as well.
