Sorry if you are disappointed, but your disappointment is misplaced to an extent. The quote, in context, deals with shooting ** terrorists ** before they are able to set off another bomb. It does not deal with shooting ** innocent Muslims. ** Since the person shot turned out not to be a terrorist (Muslim or non-Muslim), my “Bravo” for the police action was clearly premature and turned out to be inappropriate. My BAD.
However, I stand by the sentiment that police ought to try to gun down ** “terrorists” ** before they complete their missions and when they are succesful in doing so, they should be applauded. Further, every successful kill of a terrorist before he completes his mission ought to be highly publicized so that the a**holes know the cops are right on their tail.
