no, my parents dont speak Punjabi (as in the proper Sikh Punjabi)…
I can speak my own language as well as urdu and bits of punjabi, and english…
the thing that irritates me the most is when kids born and bred here in either UK/America…cant speak their mother tongue properly…and when they speak it they end up sounding like laloos…jokers/dumb. I’ll make sure my kids are never like that insha-allah
