2 weeks ago I went library…and I cant remember wot section I went to…something like Art and for some strange reason the Punjabi dictionary was there and its the first book my eyes went on. strange :konfused:

so I picked it up and brought it home.

so every word I ask u is indeed in the dictionary so “:mocking:” to both of you.

Salaam Impuls a question do ur parents speak punjabi so yeah say to them to speak punjabi with u. Our yahaan bhi sikh jao gey. I speak punjabi with my husband and my lil sis.

no, my parents dont speak Punjabi (as in the proper Sikh Punjabi)…

I can speak my own language as well as urdu and bits of punjabi, and english…

the thing that irritates me the most is when kids born and bred here in either UK/America…cant speak their mother tongue properly…and when they speak it they end up sounding like laloos…jokers/dumb. I’ll make sure my kids are never like that insha-allah :slight_smile:

can we eat with non-muslims?

My parents speak punjabi with eachother but then with us they speak urdu. and sometimes i answer in punjabi just to piss them off :hehe: lol yea but they keep wanting me to learn urdu first and then work with punjabi :rolleyes:
