I think both are rather interesting, although I’m not terribly familiar with places that are considered sacred on the subcontinent. What are some places that are considered sacred?

Its many ashthaan (Hindu pligrim sites) scattered all over Indo-Pak. Ganga is a sacred river. Its water ‘Ganga jal’ is used at many religious occasions. "ganga ashnan’ is quite equal to doing Hajj for hindus.
