wearing hijab is for ur own safety, to protect urself from evil eyes..
u can still be religious without wearing hijaab , or u can still be a bad person by wearing hijaab..

According to many Hadiths, a woman should cover her head in front of namehram males, it is required, not optional.

i dont think FF ever said that it was optional. he simply said that a person wearing hijab is not always a religious person…and vice versa. Actually he is right the hijab does protect us and it keeps us from being harrassed.

Woman don’t cover up-- regardless of whether she is good or bad-- raise the lust of man (nature of the beast). Man want to fkky fkky woman over his ugly fat wife. Come home and beat wife.
Wife get sad, and God blame both non-hijabi woman and man.
Morale of the story: Dont usurp the rights (haqq) of others–in this case the rights of the wife.

Hijab is obligatory for women it is the commandment of Allah SWT.
Allah will punish her in the hereafter for not wearing it.
but keep in mind that Allah is Ghafoor-ur-Raheem.
Allah may forgive her for her other good deeds. you never know.
because Allah may forgive every thing if He wishes but the Shirk.

Ali, give us a quote from the Qu'ran to back that up. Allah will punish all women who don't wear hijab and what will he do to the men who ogle women?

yes you’re right..but do you know what the punishment would be? i have read there are certain types of punishments for certain things..i was just curious if there was a specific punishment for not wearing hijab. i suppose it doesnt matter…a punishment is a punishment afterall.

the hijab is obligatory. leaving the obligatory makes one sinful and liable to being punished by Allah (SWT). not everything has a specific verse. somethings are just obvious and understood.
perhaps even my question doesnt have a specific verse. but i was curious nonetheless.

God creates human beings in the flesh, takes them back in the flesh and invites them to his house as equals with minimum attire which covers them with decency, men and women standing as equals, then why do simple mortals wish to impose their values upon those created by the almighty?

Allah swt commands you to do something. So he gives you two options.
1. Do it.
IN doing it there are numerous awards spread out throughout the Quran.
2. Don't Do it.
You directly oppose the command of Allah.
THINK for a second.
If your Aqeedah (belief) is 100% entirely with Allah swt. Then if he says do something. You do it. If you dont' do it, then you are disobeying Allah swt.
Now, there are MANY verses on those people that disobey Allah. And that is the punishment shared by many people who disobey the commands of Allah swt.
So this means that those who don't follow commands of Allah swt (i.e. keeping beard, hijaab, praying salah, fasting etc etc) get the punishment of those who disobey Allah swt.
The Prophet pbuh said the majority of people in Hell were women. Why? Because Men since superior as they are (its a fact since the beginning of time. Look it up in any history. It was only Islam that gave women rights! and the west just RECENTLY gave the rights to Women! SubhAnallah!) men tend to give in their carnal desires more than women. Its a fact. Thus Women who wear slutty clothes are an eye candy object for men, and men do things unlawful things.

im well aware of that…but no one is answering my question. basically what im trying to ask is how harsh it the punishment..is there a particular punishment for women who dont observe the hijab?
for example i read somewhere on the net that a woman will give birth to fire stones (volcanoes) for each hair she showed to non-mahrem men.
however there was no reference for this. i wanted to know if this verse was authentic or is it just something that was made up.

ALlah knows best. He decides who he will send to heaven or hell. And how severe his punishment.
But you can only imagine the severeness of his Punishment.
**The Lowest punishment in hell is for **The Prophet’s Uncle, Abu talib. His punishment is that, he will be burned in a shallow fire where his brains will melt and come out from his nose eyes etc..
So you can only imagine the punishment for those that disobey Allah swt openly.
Also Angel, focus on the pleasure of Allah swt, not the Punishments he will present.
He is all merciful and gracious.
One should be thinking of doing things to please him.
Why would one think, oh I get the least punishment, so I can handle it, no problem.
That only gets Allah’s anger, not his pleasure.

It did not look like a question to me.
To me it was a Statement.
From Allah swt we came, and to him we return. The ruuh is what goes back. We don’t physically return to him.

where is the punishment in the Quran for not praying, or for not fasting, or for drinking wine, or eating pork, or for doing millions of things that r not considered right in Islam????
try to follow Islam and not to find excuses for the wrong u do....
