Public transportation

So, I took the bus today after a while. Some of the things and people are icky/weird. I saw a guy touching his boobs - I think he was checking how toned he was. Let’s give him the benefit of doubt. One guy had icky long fingernails of all different lengths. I was disgusted and it didn’t help he was standing right infront of me. Lastly, the funny thing I saw was a girl whose blush went all the way back to her ears :hehe: She had blush on her ears.

Share weird/odd things you see on public transportation?

Re: Public transportation

Dude, I live in Texas…what public transportation…lmao!!

However, I once saw a chic on the subway in NYC who seemed to be talking to herself/putting her hand up her shirt a little too much. Turns out she had one of those icky sugarglider things as a pet and it was literally inside her shirt, seenay say chipkaa huwa…very strange

Re: Public transportation

Sucks for you :stuck_out_tongue: missing out on all the fun stuff. :hehe:

Re: Public transportation

People using public transportation are no more or less weird/ icky than those who don't. At least they don't contribute to pollution as much as the ones who use cars to get around.

Re: Public transportation

Agreed, Southie Uncle. I'm fairly certain that there are plenty of sugar glider hoarding individuals in the gazillion cars that clog up the myriad highways of my fair city..I just don't get a chance to see them up close because I'm locked in my own gas guzzler. I think one of the reasons I love NYC so much is the sheer fact that I can spend a week there without ever having to think about a car, let alone get in one. I am all for public transportation. Dallas is slowly catching up with the DART rail system. My husband and I use it whenever we need to head into the downtown area (which is not often unfortunately). I have high hopes for it though.

Re: Public transportation

You clearly missed the point of my post and umm I took the bus too.

Re: Public transportation

Good for you.

Re: Public transportation

Southie makes up for all the people who use public transportation to save the planet with his daal induced flatulence.

Re: Public transportation

Your Royal Highness. Why would you even contemplate riding the bus never mind actually going ahead and doing such an evil deed? :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Public transportation

Jeez, look at you all on your high horse. I didn't say people who take the public transportation are tainted or there is something wrong with taking public transportation. Learn to read before responding.

Re: Public transportation

Get over yourself. I saw topic related to bus riders and decided to say something positive about them. And I commute by a car.

Re: Public transportation

And one of the funniet observation is...if ya're guy and ya sit with beautiful girl..she is usually shying out or pretending to ignore the fella beside her. Yes i have been victim of this yo. And vice versa if there is any shy fella around.

Re: Public transportation

One of the problems I encounter on public transit--men are usually invading personal space. Like, if I'm sitting, they sit next to me, they will spread their legs wide and just sit.

ok ok once, I was on my way to work....the train was practically empty and I was sitting in my seat by the window, towards the inside...there's a seat right next to me that's the aisle seat.. guy comes and sits next to me. Puts his arm across the back of the seat next to me. I'm reading my paper and he's leaning in. I started shouting at him to get the hell away from me. He kept talking and I asked him if he was really stupid....I was pretty much shouting at him. Finally he got up. I was so mad I almost called him the N-word. I wish I'd at least smacked him.

another time, I was on the bus when I saw a gigantic woman (like 6'3, 300 lbs giant) try to fit herself in a middle seat. She was spilling over onto the passengers laps on either side of her. When they protested, she started screaming at them, some nonsense that she had every right to sit, she's disabled etc. They ignored her, and one lady gave up her seat to the passenger who had practically been crushed underneath that giant. The funniest thing? that passenger was normal sized....and the giant called her a fat-ass.
