Not always. Since you never know in which frame of mind the opinion maker is, at that particular time. I would have temperament for listening to others, but wont solely depend on them, esp when I dont really trust their sincerity that much.

It depends entirely on the yardstick that you carry to distinguish between right and wrong. If democracy is the yardstick it is institutionally legitimate to accept a seemingly "wrong" as an acceptable "right" when support of masses goes into the same pan.
Public opinion delineates popular belief which might have been a result of constant hammering of a stereotype into the brains of people, we are all susceptible to a powerful stereotype specifically when voices from the other side are percolated and shunned.
So there is no verdict about absolute righteousness of public opinion, neither do we have an artifact that proves otherwise.
Sometimes it is always right , sometimes it is always wrong.

So no one in the favor of public opinion being right. I wonder if no one think its correct than how come democracy is the most favored form of government.
My next question is if you don't agree with very bases of democracy than how can you think of it as best form of government ?

Why? because not only it accomodates the very logic of democracy within it, which democratic process claims but fails to facilitate, but eliminates the crooks of the society from deciding about the fate of the land provided it is implemented without any bias or kinship.
