Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

:salam2:

While searching info about Pakistan, various online forums discussed that the American embassy in Pakistan arranged a public ceremony in Islamabad for gays & lesbians where 70+ pplz from all over Pakistan joined this event. Purpose of such ceremony was that the USA supports the gays rights (marrying same sex) all over the world.

Wasn’t read in any news. So what is this all about? hoax?

Re: Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

I dont remember reading about this in the news, but if it really happened, its pretty shameless holding these kinda ceremonies in embassies, what on earth they were thinking? trying to make fun of our ideologies and beliefs? they are free to do whatever they want to do in their own countries, but they shouldnt be alllowed to bring this garbage in our culture. Pakistani authories shouldnt have allowed them to hold such ceremonies in the first place.

Re: Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

Hmm, should I blame US embassy, or those 70 people that showed up. I have nothing against those people's life choices, but their loyalties should be with the valuse of their land, and not with that of a foreign consulate

Re: Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

are you trying to say that gays and lesbians dont exist in our culture? or that they do exist but we can not accept their presence? or are you trying to say that it is against our ideology to have gays and lesbians get together?
whats your point honestly?

Re: Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

There is difference in 'existence' and celebration/providing support. Terrorists exist in our society, should we have a day for terrorists celebration too? or should we as nation/country policy start supporting them openly?

Re: Public Ceremony for Gays & Lesbians

In USA polygamy is illegal in all 50 states. Why don't Pak embassy/consulate arrange similar public ceremony in various state about polygamy and invites US Nationals to joined this event. Lastly inform the media that Pakistan supports polygamy rights all over the world. Fair enough na :)
